It was a amazing time. The weather was great in April. Let me start with the customer service. I purchased the Faster to Fun pass which was amazing. We boarded and disembarked early and went pass many lines which made the trip stress free. I was able to bypass long lines for customer service on the ship because of that pass. Worth the money. Every employee on board was friendly. We dined only one ...
We chose Sunshine for the dates and things on board. We had 2 cloud 9, deck 11 balcony rooms that were set up for our 3 boys in one (ages 11, 11, and 8) and my wife and I in the adjoining room. Rooms were spacious and the balcony was perfect.
There were plenty of things to do on board and for a spring break week we never felt overly crowded or busy. The kids must have done the skycourse ...
We have been on many cruises in the past. Disney, Royal Caribbean, Princess. This was our first Carnival. We were travelling with a 12 teens so we thought that Carnival would be the best fit. We were pretty disappointed with our choice. It felt like they have never done this before. The processes in place were just broken and there was not enough crew to offer the service that you should expect. ...
After twelve (12) Carnival cruises, four (2) Royal Caribbean and two(2) NCL cruises, the Breeze was the best so far. The entire ship was changed from top to bottom from its sister ship the Magic.. I had a bottom floor room and the hallways that are usually too small for two people to pass were enlarged. There was little noise from the bottom of the ship. They took out the booths on the Lido ...
Hubby and I had a blast!! The cabin was well kept and clean at all times. The staff was super friendly and always asking if there was anything that we needed. The over all food in the MDR was good and the Steakhouse was well worth it, I truly enjoyed myself. The entertainment was really good. The CD was super funny and there was never a dull moment. Looking forward to going back in Oct. The only ...
Embarkation very easy - did not pay for any extra treatment. We boarded at our given time of noon and never had to stop and stand. (This is my 17th Cruise and a cruiser of many different lines.) Balcony room was ready when we arrived and headed to Guy's BBQ - delicious. I thought the décor was beautiful and could care less about how big the atrium was. I thought it was very stylish. We did ...
04-02-17 Carnival Breeze.
Debarkation Port Galveston Texas,
Interior Rm 7295.
We arrived in Galveston the day before sailing. Stayed at Gaido’s Hotel, 3700 Seawall Blvd. Ocean view room for $217, included breakfast, and ride to port. Adjoining restaurants and live music at the pool was enjoyable. Music was a little loud but only lasted till 11:00 PM. Gaido’s is a 4.5 Star Restaurant ...
Hurry up and wait was the theme. Everything was filled with kids (hot tubs, gym equipment outside, mini-golf, pools, etc.) The adults would lock down all the chairs and you'd see towels there for hours and no people. The quality of people who take these cruises out of Galveston continues to drop. Got very tired of people with two plates of food bum rushing the elevator before you can get off, ...
Have been on Carnival once before 20+ years ago and picked on price. Of course someone will complain about everything - bid ones I heard prior to the cruise was the decor. Really? Its a cruise ship. Sure there was a lot of pink, but never overwhelming and not gaudy. Never really noticed to be honest. MarQ was our CD and he was great - the Tandoor was awesome, the Steakhouse was the best! The ...
We wanted a trip of less than a week for our intro to cruising and the Liberty's itinerary was just about perfect. The first 2 days were at sea and there were loads to do. We expected the common areas to feel cramped. However, apart from the main pool deck, there was plenty of room.
On the second evening, we had the formal dinner where the guidance was 'elegant' dress - with no jeans, ...
