Had a great Easter trip on this cruise.
We traveled by taxi from Jacksonville airport to Jax port for $35. It was very easy transportation . As suite guests the express embarkation was a breeze. As always, the sail away party was great! This was our 1st cruise and we weren't sure what to except. Paid a little extra for priority boarding, definitely worth it.
All of the crew were fantastic, treated us like gold. We rented the suite with a balcony - perfect for us. Chi Chi and our (male) house keeper treated us as if we were family.

We wanted a cheap cruise to get away for spring break with my 14 year old son. We knew it would not be the best ship due to age and price so had reasonable expectations.

We arrived at port at 12:15 pm for a 1-1:30 pm boarding time. It seemed Carnival's embarkation system was in somewhat disarray. The staff and crew of The Pride is just plain outstanding. Wonderful. I don't have a single complaint. After a few days you feel like old friends.
