Had a great Easter trip on this cruise.
We traveled by taxi from Jacksonville airport to Jax port for $35. It was very easy transportation . As suite guests the express embarkation was a breeze. As always, the sail away party was great! We upgraded to the Grand suite a couple days before the trip. This room afforded us with a wonderful walk in closet , much larger balcony , bathroom ...
This was our 1st cruise and we weren't sure what to except. Paid a little extra for priority boarding, definitely worth it.
All of the crew were fantastic, treated us like gold. We rented the suite with a balcony - perfect for us. Chi Chi and our (male) house keeper treated us as if we were family.
Each of our stops were beautiful. Took a horse drawn carriage ride through Nassau, our ...
This was a girls trip for Spring Break, a much anticipated week of relaxation away from work and our husbands. Unfortunately, Carnival did not deliver.
*Carnival HUB Chat didn't work most of the week
*Several areas of the ship smelled like sewer consistently
*Never once saw the Taste Bar open
*Bars were not consistent with drinks; you could order the same drink and get it in a ...
We wanted a cheap cruise to get away for spring break with my 14 year old son. We knew it would not be the best ship due to age and price so had reasonable expectations.
The shop overall is very easy to navigate and is in pretty good shape.
Entertainment
Matt the CD was an excellent lead and his asst Orlando had great energy. Cannot say enough good things about Matt, always in a good ...
We arrived at port at 12:15 pm for a 1-1:30 pm boarding time. It seemed Carnival's embarkation system was in somewhat disarray. You had anxious travelers arriving via Uber, bus, and dropoffs waiting to get on board. Travelers were directed to an area where they huddled around a set of stanchions left in limbo. A couple of Carnival workers attempted to direct crowd, but without a PA system or ...
This trip was choosen because it fell on dates that my son was out for spring break. It was our first cruise and we had a wonderful time! Our ship stewart, Heri, was amazing! always made sure we never went without anything! he was very informative and would sometimes have an answer before i asked the question lol! as others have stated, the ship is dated...but it is also an older ship so that ...
The staff and crew of The Pride is just plain outstanding. Wonderful. I don't have a single complaint. After a few days you feel like old friends. The decor is a bit weird, on board entertainment is just so-so (not for lack of effort or talent, it's just strange...), and the itinerary is "eh". The Grand Turk day ends at 2PM. Freeport ends at 1:30... really? Get off the ship at what,7:30 in ...
Just got home from an amazing experience on the Carnival Liberty! Myself and another teacher from my school decided to get out of dodge for spring break. From the airport transfer driver to the time we made it on to the ship, every Carnival employee had a smile on their face. The embarkation process really took 45 minutes or so, everything there was just such a well oiled machine. Once on the ...
We've cruised on the dream before, just not in a cabin on the front of the ship. Next time I'll be in the middle or aft. The overall cruise was good, but Carnival was a little off this time. This was probably due to the fact that the cruise prior to our cruise was a specialty cruise. Our departure time was 2 hours later than normal. It took longer to get our luggage, around 8 at night, and our fun ...
We really like the blue and yellow colors on the Breeze. The cabin doors were a treat also, really liked the wood look. When we first met our room steward, he told us he had 35 rooms to take care of and wanted to know if we wanted morning or evening service and did we want turn down service. Told him we could turn down the bed, and to make it easy on himself for the room service. Tipped him ...
