First of all, the port of Baltimore was awesome. easy and uncrowded. We did have a late arrival though so maybe we missed crowds but getting off was a breeze thru customs. We used Orlando before and this was a HUGE difference for the positive.
Now about the Pride. My reason for three stars and not less, is because my children had a good vacation, which was my priority. This was their first ...
I am not a newbie to Carnival...or cruising....This cruise was my 65 th Carnival cruise...The 5th time on the Splendor since last year.
We booked this cruise because it was a Premier Cruise. We had a balcony cabin. As soon as we meet our cabin steward....My husband gives him $50 ..and tells him we have 2 requests....Ice ..in our ice bucket, and I requested 4 wash cloths....Our steward then ...
This was a cruise to celebrate a milestone birthday for my father, and we had a party of 12 family members and friends in our party. We did airport check-in, and it was a timesaver. We basically walked right onto the ship once we arrived at the port. The Vista is gorgeous. We hadn't done much studying of the deck plans before sailing, but it wasn't hard to find our way around. Our party ...
Dining: look for Corina and her team in the Sapphire, outstanding service provided (I ended up consuming 3 lobsters in the Elegant night), ask for her table, you will not be disappointed.
Guy's burger was great! I did not try it the first time while I was on the Breeze, but this time I ate several despite of my wife's yelling (watch your weight).
Casino: One Blackjack table had dealer ...
I went on my cruise on 4/29/2017 my room smelt bad the window timing was coming off the windowroom was Derty they cleaned in the morning that's all and left it a mess all day. My shower backed up into the bath room had to stop the leak with towels went up on deck to rest with my wife on a chair then we got up and found a condem on deck very bad can't believe that and told carnival the first day ...
I will start off with the embarkation process and experience. Arriving at the port checking through security and getting on the ship is a rather stressful annoying experience Id rather not remember. I get that there is a sense of urgency and those people who work at the port probably hate their jobs, but there could be a showing of professionalism and not treat customers like flocks of sheep. Now ...
Having been to all the ports, my friends & I chose this cruise for the Ship and man are we glad we did. Great ship with tons of fun things to do. Non-stop activity and a great staff.
It's still the same Carnival energy and personality, just on a larger scale. The only downside was checking in. So many people try to get on the boat between 12-1 that's almost best to wait til 2pm. Then you walk ...
I chose this cruise because I wanted to experience the newest, largest Carnival ship. I'm was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews on Cruise critic, but I honestly can't see what there was to complain about. It is a gorgeous ship, wonderful crew and the food is amazing. We flew to Miami for embarkation, it was very quick and smooth, everyone very professional. The ship is just ...
The new Carnival Cabin policy is one you have to select when you get aboard. You can select the AM or PM or both. The AM seemed to be around 9 in the morning and the PM is before you are at dinner and therefore, is in the daylight. You get your towel animal/fish but there is no cabin "turndown' of the cabin with the lights turned down low while at supper. I gave my cabin steward a gratuity to ...
After this trip I would always want a Havana Interior Cabin on Deck 5. The Havana area is decor transports you to a different place.
The various live music and entertainment on a daily basis on the ship was excellent. The Cruise Director Matt was one of the best I've ever had, he is personable and is not afraid of interacting with the guests nor joining in on the fun. The staff throughout the ...
