We booked this cruise of part of a package which included Chicago, Memphis ans New Orleans. With 7 nights in the Bahamas. All in all had a fantastic vacation, but cruise element was a it disappointing. Loved the ship layout and the staff.
Negatives for us was the food which was never hot, and the Casino. Who allows smoking anymore in public places, Carnival does. A big big put off for us, we ...
This was our first ever cruise and most likely our last. Ship felt dirty, outside lounge chairs where sticky on the handrails and stained from previous guest. Hair was on the deck throughout, found glass by one pool the next morning which scared me for the kids sake and lots of standing water. The windows appeared dirty, dining room chairs had crumbs and tables were not wiped down well. Cabin had ...
1. Stateroom
We stayed in a category 8B balcony stateroom (6277), located on deck 6 forward, starboard side. The proximity to the forward elevators was convenient for our kids, and made for much easier way-finding as I could tell the kids to use the front “glass elevators”, and they knew they could come out right by our cabin. The music from the atrium was loud in the hallway, but never a ...
We had a great time on the cruise. The ship had a lot to offer. I thought the food choices were the best of any other cruise I had been on. Lots of healthy food choices and the stations were spread out so as to not have everyone at the same place at the same time. Very few lines. Wish they had a pool in the serenity area but two hot tubs made it workable. Loved having the salad bar in the pool ...
I picked this cruise cause It was easy to do an Eastern and a Western together without having to change ships like I saw others do. Everything was great, only problem was the food, we didn't go hungry but food is almost always served cold, not complaining, but it would be nice if it were warm at least. Choices were not that great, but like I said we didnt go hungry I just don't like this ...
Overall it was another great cruise for my husband and me. Relaxing, plenty to do, wonderful food to eat, good entertainment, good service, and casino fun, too. I will admit that the balcony rooms were a little bit smaller than we were used to on other Carnival ships, but it worked out just fine. I was concerned about less closet hanging space; but our clothes did fit. The life jackets are now ...
The Ship: In our experience Carnival does a great job keeping their ships clean and well maintained. I am sure maintaining a ship for 3,000+ passengers is no small task but the crew does this every week with incredible efficiency. The service was impeccable and the staff goes out of their way to make sure everyone is enjoying their stay. Additionally, Carnival Freedom is by no means a small ship ...
I chose this cruise because it's on a new ship and it was an 8 day to all new ports for my younger sisters high school graduation present. It's the largest and newest ship we've ever been on.
Embarkation went very smoothly. We had to choose a check in time and arrived to the port within that time frame. We got on the ship within an hour so pretty quickly. The atrium is different than other ...
First NO AC in room hot came to fix it two times didn't fix so I asked for fan. This was first day we tried to get in hot tub but was cold. Pool to full to get in to any of them. The ship doesn't have enough pools or hot tubs for all of the people. My brothers room had people having sex all night and hitting the walls and throwing sigs on there balcony that they couldn't sit on it from them ...
Embarkation was a breeze, we were lucky to be the first people in line, no problem at all but some of the workers was getting confused about the sail & sign cards, but other than it was ok. Debarkation, however was a slow process but we made it out.
Carnival conquest is a Beautiful ship but the food is terrible, No some of the food... Guys burgers OMG! those burgers melt in your mouth! that was ...
