Family vacaton....6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 17-7. We had adjoining rooms with 2 Adults and 2 kids in each room. More than enough storage and never felt like we were cramped. Balcony helped. Not one fight, injury, or pouting session. Kids loved it, Adults loved it. Main dining room food was as good or better than any cruise we have been on, and this was only our third time with ...
We made a last minute decision to do a shorter cruise and found the Carnival Magic had a 6 day cruise out of Cape Canaveral. We researched the size of the Magic and found it to be the sister ship of one of our favorite ships, The Carnival Breeze. We hoped for an experience equal to the one on our two Breeze cruises before they moved her to Texas. Magic was a poor substitute.
The Magic has the ...
This was my disabled sons first cruise so we did something with port that was drivable and affordable. He loved it. Our balcony cabin was alright. The crew couldn't have been nicer. Unfortunately, the shows sound was too loud for him we took earphones for him to wear but it was just too much so we didn't do the shows. He enjoyed the casino slot machines, but as a non smoker the smell was just ...
We booked this cruise of part of a package which included Chicago, Memphis ans New Orleans. With 7 nights in the Bahamas. All in all had a fantastic vacation, but cruise element was a it disappointing. Loved the ship layout and the staff.
Negatives for us was the food which was never hot, and the Casino. Who allows smoking anymore in public places, Carnival does. A big big put off for us, we ...
This was our first ever cruise and most likely our last. Ship felt dirty, outside lounge chairs where sticky on the handrails and stained from previous guest. Hair was on the deck throughout, found glass by one pool the next morning which scared me for the kids sake and lots of standing water. The windows appeared dirty, dining room chairs had crumbs and tables were not wiped down well. Cabin had ...
1. Stateroom
We stayed in a category 8B balcony stateroom (6277), located on deck 6 forward, starboard side. The proximity to the forward elevators was convenient for our kids, and made for much easier way-finding as I could tell the kids to use the front āglass elevatorsā, and they knew they could come out right by our cabin. The music from the atrium was loud in the hallway, but never a ...
This was our second cruise overall and second on the Elation. We traveled with our 3 year old and my parents for this particular trip. We arrived around noon to the port as our check in time was 12:30pm. There was a short line of cars but it didn't take but a few minutes. Bags were taken from the car and we parked.
Again, the line to get into the actual port to check in was as expected and ...
We wanted to try the newest ship in the fleet. I think they tried to squeeze too much on the ship and compromised quality and space. The show room had good intentions of mobility of seats, but they gave up the visibility for many people. Mid cruise they changed some of the elevators to a buttonless system, which caused some confusion. I think it will be a practical system once people get used to ...
I chose this particular cruise because of the itinerary, and the dates worked for my 2 friends. I was so happy to see Guy's Burgers on the Conquest now!! (My favorite!)
Embarkation in Fort Lauderdale was pretty smooth - mainly because I'm a Platinum cruiser with Carnival, and I kept asking different Carnival employees where we should go to avoid the groups all merging into the lines. We caught ...
We sailed on the Glory in 2016 and picked it again in 2017, same week. What happened to the Glory in a year? The food was horrible. We resorted to pb&j at midnight in the cabin. The dining room food was not as good as last year at all and after 2 days we gave up on the dining room. I found the waiters to be a little pushy to get you to add on things that cost instead of just serving what was ...
