Carnival Caribbean Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Wonderful Experience

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Sensation

We chose the Sensation because of the itinerary and the value. The three ports of call were beautiful. The only negative I have, and I believe this to be the case with most all ships, is the limited amount of time we were able to spend in port. I would have liked to spend more time on the beaches. I felt that the ship was wonderful. There was always something to do; we were never board. The ...

Boat is really old

This was my third cruise. I have since been on another Carnival Cruise. The only bright parts of this boat were the comedians, the Cruise Director Kubir, the Blue Iguana Cantina and Guy's Burgers. There wasn't the same level of shows as a lot of other sailings. The elevators usually seemed to not be working or at least were broken in some capacity. The age of this boat shows everywhere you ...

HIGH EXPECTATIONS BUT LEFT DISAPPOINTED

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

We chose this cruise because we did the exact same cruise last year, same ship, same week, same itinerary and we absolutely had an amazing cruise, not one single negative at all, in fact it was 100% the best cruise we had ever taken. With that being said, my expectations for this cruise this time around were very high and unfortunately we did not have the same experience. Don't get me wrong, ...

Sprayed with ship's oil

My family (including 9yr old and 5 yr old kids) were on the back deck of the ship while the last day at sea and were sprayed with the ship's oil. This is a potentially toxic chemical. Many guests were covered and the entire deck had to be closed. Use this area at your own risk!!!!! We booked this cruise 3 weeks before sailing and were really excited as it was my kids first cruise. We ...

Love Carnival but the spa is awful.

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Glory

Had a great time on our cruise but don't waste your time, money or sanity at the spa. They are only there to hard sell way overpriced stuff you don't really need. The staff seems well-trained but the actual sessions were mediocre and ended with at least 20 minutes left for hard sales. The cruise staff was outstanding. Our cabin steward was a gem. The cruise director was hilarious - we hope to ...

The good and the bad.

I chose Carnival because I have cruised with them A LOT! I chose Glory because of the BEAUTIFUL destinations and they absolutely were breathtaking! There were 3 adult females in my party. We flew into Miami the night before and stayed at La Quinta Airport East because of free shuttles (airport & cruise port, breakfast, and wifi). I was a bit leary about their security and you can't really walk ...

The price was decent for the time we had gone. Had I known this was the smallest ship they had I probably wouldn't have gone. So over half the trip the Atrium elevator only had one side the worked at all and it was broken most of the trip. I was so excited that the food would be amazing and to be honest you expect that when cruising, Not here.. I can't say I actually finished one of anything on ...

Pretty good vacation; not really kid friendly

We had never taken a cruise before, and had excellent vacation experiences the past few years, so expectations were set pretty high. There were a total of five of us, 2 parents, 2 kids (10 & 8) and a grandmother. We stayed in cabins 2464 & 2460. Jean-Claude was our steward and did a terrific job; he even knew all of our names the first day! The boat in general was always clean and well kept, ...

Overly pleased with my cruise experience with Carnivel out of Norfolk Virgina .Boarding was orderly and my luggage was at my storeroom in a reasonable time. Plenty of food morning noon and night. Anything you wanted to eat was available The wait staff in dining room and the buffet were more than outstanding. They were friendly and helpful to your needs. Entertainment and activities were ...

Never again

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Sunshine

We chose this cruise for the location, time and price. That was a mistake. Customer service shouldn't be in their vocabulary bc they have zero. We had no ac in our stateroom for 3 full days after saying something to the attendant within several minutes of boarding. My husband has medical issues and had we not brought a fan from home, it would have been miserable. I fell on the pool deck in a huge ...
