Carnival Caribbean Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

This cruise was chosen for two specific reasons: Date and Half Moon Cay. About us: We were a group of 14 celebrating many things and booked through a private TA. Each person in our group had a great time to the point that it is still being discussed. We had first time cruisers to experienced including having sailed Carnival's newest ship in the Med. As a result, we approach cruising with ...

This was our first cruise and did not know what to expect. However, we had a great crew and a great time on the Carnival Splendor! We would definitely go on the ship again. We had a smooth embarkation and disembarkation process. While on board, we had wonderful crew taking care of us. Our cabin steward, Joey, made my stay wonderful. It was my birthday and our 20th anniversary. He decorated the ...

Service boat-wide was lacking and not up to Carnival's reputation, unfortunately. Had continual dining room issues regarding seating - likely because of this issue, the dining room service was extremely poor. Stateroom: Deck 11: HORRENDOUS air conditioning problems. Do not book if you cannot bring your own fan - you will sweat out! Several calls to guest services could not solve. ...

I have cruised on a Carnival over 8x, once on Norwegian and once on Royal Caribbean. That being said, Carnival has diminished its services in a lot of areas. We boarded out of Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale. We had purchased Faster to the Fun so we could board early, have our luggage expedited, have priority tender at Halfmoon Cay, & to bypass the lines at the Customer a Service Desk. ...

This was my 44th cruise and 12th on CCL. All I wanted was to go to the beach and this was the perfect itinerary hitting Nassau, Half Moon Cay, Amber Cove and Grand Turk. We flew in the day before and stayed at the Renaissance Marriott on points, room was fine, bed was great, bathroom needs updating and parking is ridiculous. We took the Budget shuttle to the port and went right to the cabin as ...

1st time on Carnival was a little disappointing

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Magic

This was our 3rd cruise as we've sailed with NCL twice previously and this was our first time on Carnival. We were excited to try the Carnival Magic but were a little disappointed. DR E was amazing, but the food, shows and staff were just eh, overall. A lot of the restaurants had weird hours. The buffet would close around 11pm and for late night eats, the only thing available at that time was ...

My family are frequent cruisers and found the Steak House to be the worst that we've experienced. The service was poor; the food was substandard, and the dress code was enforced haphazardly. Members of our party who were dressed in dress shorts were asked to change clothes. However, other diners were seated wearing cut-off jeans, cargo shorts, and flip-flops. The waitress asked me if I wanted ...

This was the first time my family and I have gone on a cruise, and the first real vacation we've taken in 7 years. Pros - We chose to get a balcony cabin, definitely worth the additional cost. Being able to go outside and watch the ocean go by was a nice bit of private relaxation. Camp Ocean (the kids' program) is a GODSEND! Our 7 year old was always asking to go back up to play there, ...

We had a very nice cruise. There were 21 people in our party. The only thing I did not like was on the lido deck people put towels down in the seats and save them all day long. And there was one group of about 15 people that sat on that deck every night and made huge messes . They were like pigs. no matter how hard the guys working tried to keep it nice and clean., it just didnt stay that way more ...

My traveling family departed the Carinval Vista on June 25th, 2017... I'll honestly give you my observations for 8 days of a Southern Caribbean cruise. 1. I don't give a hoot about what anyone says, Faster to the fun I as worth every penny... fore, it afforded me the opportunity to be the third group to board the ship... after Platinum and Diamond, wedding parties, FTTF, special assistance, ...
