We had fun cause we were on vacation but I agree with some of the other reviews about the lines and crowds on this ship even though we always sail in the summer the Magic was so crowded and lines for everything. I think the problem seemed that there were lots of workers cleaning but not serving, like one man making sandwiches at lunch or 2 men making burritos just not enough for the crowds of ...
IT was a new ship. Not clean ,service slow, food not good main dinning room and central dinninig.Kids in the casino, ship not clean when we got on.Let people on to early.to many new people working didn't have a clue what they were doing.Bacon not cooked, eggs cold, toast cold.kept running out of ice diinning room.To many lines at front desk ,lights out in main dinning room.better toeat at the outside ...
Fun Food Fact: Adults MAY order from the KIDS menu… and the banana splits on this ship are the...sh…darn good!
My wife and I traveled with 5 others - friends and family and between the 7 of us, we have; DE, MD and PA addresses.
This being our fourth time on Pride, we pretty much knew the drill in Baltimore. No crazy lines or hold ups, either getting onto or off of the ship - did see ...
My very large family - 38 in all from all over the country - decided to have a family reunion on this cruise. Many in the group were first time cruisers and somewhat reluctant to try it. However, Carnival did not disappoint! There were activities and fun for all the age groups - from my 89 year old mother down to the 1 year olds, my granddaughter and my grandniece. Everyone was happy with their ...
Large family group and although of course a cruise vacation is always fun and we all made a great time Carnival was very disappointing in many areas that could have made our vacation so much better and at $1200 pp plus drink package we expected better but cuts have definitely been made since we cruised last in 2010 on carnival dream, we have also cruised on royal caribbean and disney and we would ...
Our cruise on the Carnival Pride was a wonderful for the most part, however, I found the food in the buffet to be subpar....not even edible except for breakfast. The Guys Burgers were great as usual. The soft serve Ice Cream is always a treat. Pizza was far better than the buffet food, which was tastless, the varieties did not even remotely go together. Shoney's restaurant food would have been ...
Overall- very impressed by Carnival- even though this line would not have been my first choice since I don't have kids and don't need anything kid-friendly. However, we joined another couple who did have kids... so that dictated the ship and the cruise timing. That said, had a great time and would absolutely sail Carnival again especially one of the newer or updated larger ships.
Embarkation: ...
We had 3 families-extended- with a total of 10 people, including 4 kids aged 1, 3, 8 and 8. Because we purchased Faster to the Fun, embarkation went faster. One family had an issue with pictures not working but only had to be taken at a different spot. We each had extended balcony cabin next to one another. The first few days were rough seas with the weather but then smooth until Saturday. The ...
After waiting over a year from when we booked, the day finally arrived and we boarded the Breeze for our 7 days cruise to Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Cozumel.
First the positives - Our room steward and dining staff were top notch! They work their tails off and their pride in their work shows! The show "Flick" was OUTSTANDING! Don't get off the ship without having ordered a BLT from room ...
Celebrating 50th birthday for one in our group. MDR service and food was very good; crew overall was great. Only ate Lido Buffet once and it was okay. Seaday brunch is still my favorite, but the Blue Iguana has replaced the omelet line as my favorite breakfast on port days. Alchemy and Red Frog Pub are my favorite afternoon/evening hangouts and they were great as usual. I enjoyed Guys fries ...
