Okay so this was my very first cruise and I'm here to leave an honest review of it. I'm going to give a brief review of every aspect of this fun vacation!
Carnival Dream Ship
Okay so the ship was huge. I know I don't have any to compare it to but my friend I travelled with had been on two Royal Carribean cruises and said this ship was much much bigger. There was a nice running track viewing ...
From the time we were dropped off at Port Everglades to the time we were on the ship was less than 2 hours thanks to FTTF. Our cabin steward, Joseph, rocked! Loved running into him in the halls and chatting about his life on and off the ship.
Had Gold Pearl early dining. LOVED our wait staff. We couldn't wait to see them each night.
Seas were nice and calm so felt no sea sickness thank ...
Embarkation & disembarkation at the New Orleans port was very organized and moved quickly.
The food in the main dining room on the ship is wonderful. Our waitstaff in there was very attentive & always called us by name. Ahmad, Ionut and Ricardo were enduring and were the redeeming key to our cruise.
I would not recommend Pig & Anchor. it was not traditional smoked meat by any means. The ...
The ship was kept very clean which was amazing considering how many people with no regards for others discarded their trash EVERYWHERE. There were children everywhere and there were shows and movies almost constantly playing. Dining was always interesting. The servers are very polite and always had our table for 18 ready and our individual drinks ready. However, the food that was prepared was ...
This was our first cruise so we honestly didn't know what to expect. I can honestly say we were blown away at how absolutely amazing the whole cruise experience was. I was nervous about how small the cabin would be however we hardly spent any time there even with our two toddlers it worked just fine. Our steward cleaned our room twice a day faithfully and did a heck of a job, No complaints ...
Mike the cruise director was fantastic, he seemed to be everywhere at once. We especially enjoyed our serving team of Ali, Tety and Ning at the Blush Dining. The kids really enjoyed the sky course, the pools and especially the slides. Embarkation and Debarkation seemed to go smoothly. The lines for food did not take as long as you would expect with over 4000 passengers. The shows were very ...
We chose the Breeze as it is a newer ship. It is very beautiful, clean and overall we had a great experience. The food and service were very good. We had an interior cabin. The bedding in the cabin was a little uncomfortable for me, but my husband said he was fine. I felt the mattress was too thin. We had anytime dinning but this time I felt a little lonely as we sat at a table for two. I ...
When my husband and I got married in 2014, I left three days after the ceremony for a travel work assignment. We decided that three years was long enough to wait and chose to plan a cruise for our Honeymoon. Let me say that booking a cruise was the easiest thing in the world. Carnival's customer service was great. The cruise itself was a much needed escape. The staff on the ship was beyond ...
My wife's family set the cruise up last year as a family reunion cruise. The boarding process was what I expected with as many people as it was, but it went fairly smooth. The staff were great. Our cabin stewart was wonderful. Orlando, the cruise director, was attentive, funny, engaging. An all around people person. The food was great and available when you were hungry. I probably ate too ...
My husband and I traveled with our two young children (6 and 8). Embarkation was a little long with some unexplained delays but overall not so bad given the sheer volume of people. I do feel as though my suitcases sustained quite a bit of damage while being brought on the ship and to our cabin. We stayed in a four-person cabin with a window (1411). I was worried about the arrangements but it ...
