Carnival Caribbean Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Great cruise on an older ship

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Splendor

The cruise itself was great. Embarkation and Debarkation were the worst we have ever had and this was our 21st cruise! Totally disorganized and poorly managed. The ship was a little worn here and there but overall pretty good. The pink "doughnuts" everywhere were a bit jarring. Loved the decor in the El Morocco lounge with the palm trees, etc. We only say one of the nightly shows in the ...

Many mechanical problems

We chose this cruise to replace one in September that was cancelled due to Irma. There were 9 of us. My cabin was E145, interior midship ( LAST one available due to late booking), and I would never book on that deck again. We were under the galley, and at 2:45 every morning the clanging, banging, and crashing noise began. We had ear plugs, so we were o.k., just heard it a little. Our cabin was ...

First cruise was a blast.

A friend of mine recommended this cruise. I've always wanted to go on a cruise, my husband not so much, but I finally talked him in to going. I had my friend help me out deciding where to go and what ship. It was perfect for us. They have the embarkment down to a fine art. We weren't in line very long at all. We had a king size bed with plenty of room to move round and not feel like we were ...

Another great Carnival cruise on the Freedom. My 10th cruise on Carnival. Service can make or break a cruise and we had the best service we have had since the Conquest in 2003. From the Dining Room wait staff of Armando, Jan and Alvin to the Room Steward Romel. These guys along with an accommodating maitre d' that reassigned our seating to our liking. The ship is nice and clean with a beautiful ...

Cruise to Cozumel and Cuba

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Carnival Paradise

This was our 12th cruise, 11th on Carnival. All of the others have been on either the Destiny, Triumph or Conquest Class. There is a huge difference in those classes and the Fantasy Class. We had 63 VIFP days and have an 8 day cruise booked on the Horizon for 2019. That would have put us 4 days short of Platinum so we booked this cruise to become Platinum on the Horizon. Embarkation was easy ...

Havana Great Time!

Review for a Cuba Cruise on Carnival Paradise

Visiting Cuba was a bucket list item for us and when we saw that Carnival was going to have a trip there, we jumped at the opportunity. Although there were a few glitches here and there that could have made the experience better, overall it was very good. This was our second cruise on the Paradise, and were well aware that she is an older, smaller ship, but still very elegant and cozy. She was ...

Worst vacation I’ve ever had

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Sensation

This is the worst vacation i’ve ever had... I honestly would have enjoyed myself more at home, seriously... Where do I begin... First let me say i’m not a picky person i’m very reasonable and quite understanding but my experience on sensation was terrible. They lost my infant son’s luggage, which contained his diapers and formula. So I found myself going deck to deck looking ...

I go out of Charleston S.C. to save airfare. My last cruise was out of S.C. it was the Fantasy ship. This was my 4th cruise since 2000. After this last cruise, I might look elsewhere. My last cruise mid-week we had a midnight meal, plus a movie, well not this ship. We had a movie, but 5 pm, with all my grandkids we did the 6:15 dinner, so we could not go to the movie, (Wonder Woman). Last cruise ...

Food sucks even in the main dinning (over cooked or under cooked - most employees suck with few manners with the exception of a couple of them - the serinity area is very noisy because it sets under the dining balcony and the water park area - the casino is horrific with smokers and way to small for a ship casino - just not a lot to do on a full day of sailing other than to lay out or swim in the ...

overall the breeze is nice, the service was good but not great. but a good relaxing time, if there was one thing I would change it would the cruise dir. really never saw or got people excited. now if the one from Fantasy ship was there I feel it would make the ship rock! many of the staff seem over worked and pushed to the limits but always said good morning. I wish they would take a step ...
