Carnival Caribbean Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

I really wanted to love it

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Vista

I read numerous negative reviews before sailing and I tried to ignore them because I've always had the opinion of "you're on vacation, how can you have a bad cruise?". I honestly should have listened. I really wanted to love this ship but I really regret spending my money. EMBARKATION: we had an 11:30 time and arrived around 11:15. We had a suite so walked around the terminal for priority ...

I have cruised on the Carnival Glory before and because I really loved it, I booked again about a year and a half later. I mainly booked with the Glory again because I LOVED Eric Brauman, the cruise director on my Feb. 2016 trip; however, he is no longer with Carnival. Our cruise director was Dustin this time. Dustin was good, but he is no Eric! LOL. Eric made lots of announcements (which some ...

This was our 2nd time on the Magic and our 3rd cruise overall (always 7 days or more). We chose to cruise on the Magic again because we really enjoyed this ship. Plenty to do, lots of room, never feels over crowded. We had the Faster to the Fun so our Embarkation was very smooth. Although, even without it, the process is run very well and seems to be organized. We were greeted with smiles by ...

This was our second sailing with Carnival. First, the good stuff: Thankfully we purchased our transfers from Carnival. Our connecting plane broke down and our arrival time was THREE HOURS LATE! I called Carnival from Chicago to let them know, and they had two representatives waiting for us at baggage check. We got on the ship at 3:45 p.m. NEVER again will we fly the same day as departure. ...

We booked this cruise because we wanted to go to San Juan and St. Thomas. Oh well. We enjoyed the cruise. BIG ship, met lots of folks. (Never saw anything about the cruise critic meet and greet though!) Cucina del Capitano was excellent - we went for dinner one night, and that $15 was well worth it. Had a branzino dish that was excellent, and they just kept pushing food on us -"you need ...

This was our 3rd cruise with Carnival and each one was a different ship. The ship was well maintained, every port stop they were constantly cleaning and performing maintenance. Our cabin was well maintained, we even asked our room steward to tighten the screws on the ladder for our son to get into his bunk and he was glad to take care of it. Staff was very friendly and helpful towards us. Staff ...

Beyond my expectations

I wanted to go somewhere different than where I have sailed before. Unfortunately, due to Hurricane Irma, two of the four ports were changed to where I had been before. (I am not complaining because the people in San Juan and St Thomas have much loss and despair which doesn't even compare to me getting different ports instead) This was my third cruise and I'd been on smaller ships previously. ...

WE, hubby and I, chose this cruise because the price was right. There was nothing special about this cruise. The food was OK, the service was OK , the activities were average as well. Embarkation was easy because we were early so getting on board was a piece of cake. Disembarkation was what they are,.... just sit back and let it happen, you'll get off sooner or later. The biggest problem ...

I'm so nauseated at Lido food and MDR food is barely passable for a few days. So very grateful for Steakhouse and Ji Ji's (both excellent). Typical Carnival experience - fun but lacking decent food. Guys burgers were disgusting. Multiple people complaining about diarreah (sp) mid-cruise. Ship was typical Carnival - fun experience, dated décor, lousy food unless you pay extra. Value internet ...

Checked in was fast especially that we arrived 2 hours before departure. The ship is very clean, organized and orderly. Excursions: Plenty to choose from except The "Chichen Itza in Conzumel. The tour is 8 hours but the drive itself is over 4 hours in total and you only have 45-50 minutes to see the ruins itself. They need to improvise the time frame on this tour. Juan the tour guide was very ...
