Carnival Caribbean Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

We booked this cruise last Dec.16,,,,,heard a lot of bad and good about Carnaval, this was our first cruise, we are In our mid 50's. I read a lot of reviews on the ships and cruise lines, I was really impressed with the entire process, boarding, places and quality of food, entertainment. Never felt pushed, never had a feeling of TOO MANY PEOPLE.....I would book another in a heartbeat if I could. ...

Overall the ship was ran well, Carnival has been at this for a long time and have ironed out all of the wrinkles in giving people the most bang for the buck. The ship is not bad ,although the decor was not very impressive, nothing like the Victory was when it was new. The food on the Lido deck and the dining rooms were excellent. The service in the dining rooms were hit and miss, depending on ...

GOOD AND BAD

This was a family vacation and others choose it because of price and port it was leaving from. The embarkation was smooth and a wheel chair was available for me. But the disembarkation was a fiasco. Had all disabled people crammed into the bar area from 11 til almost 3 when I was to leave. I could not do self check off because I was in a wheelchair. I asked if I could leave with first ...

Just just got back and had an amazing time on the Carnival Dream! We had a great time and would definitely sail on the Dream again We had an interior room on Deck 7- since we are never in our room. We had no complaints. But, as I said, we are never there... plugs worked well, shower and toilet were fine. Food- was amazing!!! We always do set dining and had 8pm dinner in Crimson. Our wait ...

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Ecstasy

Before I start - this sailing was all jacked up before we ever set sail. It was a 10 day itinerary that was changed b/c of the hurricane through the islands weeks before. Not a big deal. However, we were supposed to be a 5 port schedule, which was adjusted to a 4 port schedule prior to sailing. In the bigger picture, Carnival could have done a better job getting us to 5 ports on a 10 day ...

Great Cruise, Great Ship, Great Fun

I was surprised at the long lines to check in at the Baltimore pier. Arrived at noon and it took over 2 hours to get on the ship. Lots of people had 12 packs of soda that they were able to carry on for personal use. The luggage did arrive at the room before we sailed. The "get to know your ship" tour was a great way to get orientated with the layout of the ship. Overall the ship was very pretty ...

Had an amazing time on this ship. The embarkation was very streamline that as soon as you dropped your bags to get to the room was less than 30 minutes much much better from pass sailings. Cruise Director was great and made himself available for many of the events. The chefs table was awesome it was set up directly in the kitchen. The chef had it very streamlined. The entertainment was good ...

Not such a Journey

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Carnival Ecstasy

Chose the cruise initially because there would be a 6 month gap in cruises for us after a Bach 2 Back in February on the Magic and another Back to Back in July (family cruise). We initially booked the Sunshine Journey out of Charleston. As this was a repeat of the 2016 cruise, we decided to take the November Journey on the Ecstasy. Same port, close to home - winner! Well, not so much. Thanks to ...

Another Lovely Carnival Cruise

This was our 4th time sailing on Carnival, and we were very pleased with almost everything. We chose the Ecstasy simply because it sails out of Charleston, SC. We have several people in our family who cannot do long road trips, so close to home was a must for this cruise. We were a bit apprehensive about the size and age of the ship, but it turned out to be a non-issue for the most part. The ...
