I chose this cruise because of the dates and the itinerary. This was my first time with the new embarkation process. We basically went through security then walked to the ship only having our passes scanned along the way. Once on the ship we were able to get food till our room was ready. We then picked up our keys from the mailbox in front of our door.
For those who have traveled on the Glory ...
We were looking for an anniversary cruise for the end of December. This 5 day cruise to Cozumel and Progreso fit our schedules and was a welcome break from the cold. We had a balcony cabin and the only complaint was dirty carpet. Our steward Mohammed took car of that quickly.
Natalia and Dino took great care of us in the dining room, including celebrating our anniversary with us. If you plan ...
We booked this cruise 2 years ago with 36 friends and family members coming along with us. I am a gold member for Carnival and this was my 5th cruise with Carnival and definitely will be my last cruise. The good points would be the staff in the dinning room and the housekeeping crew they were nice and did a great job and the food at Guys burgers and the Cantina was very good. The rest was ...
This was our third cruise with Carnival. Normally, we are a loyal Royal Caribbean customer, but this cruise was organized by a friend and it was over New Year's Eve so thought it would be fun.
Unfortunately, this was anything but a "Funship." The bar staff with the exception of two people were very unfriendly. Almost made you feel like it was an imposition to ask for a drink.
The food was ...
We are one cruise away from being Platinum Members on Carnival, plus we've sailed on NCL, Royal Caribbean, and Disney, so we're pretty versed in cruising. The embarkation and debarkation process was easy, fast and appreciated. We sailed for a New Year's Eve cruise with some family friends (which was the best part of the cruise). The onboard shows were very good. The onboard trivia coordinator ...
We chose the cruise for the itinerary. The ship itself is getting dated and is in dire need of an update. Not as clean as I would have liked - had to ask to have beds cleaned, found old bread underneath my bed. Cabin really worn out. Holes in curtains, lampshades. Two ports with tenders. Really long waits in Belize to get onto a tender, and the ride to Belize itself is long. Roatan was a blast. ...
We chose this for a family vacation, and unfortunately did not have a good experience. When we arrived our cabin that was "ready" had a pile of dirty sheets on the sofa, the sheets on the bed were stained, and the crib we arranged to be in the cabin was collapsed on the side of the wall. We needed to call housekeeping twice for new sheets for the bed, and a sheet for the crib. My husband ended ...
There is nothing better than ringing in the New Year at sea. This was our 4th NYE cruise and 2nd on the Ecstasy. We were fortunate enough to have one of our son's family of 4 and my wife's 2 sisters and a nephew cruise with us. Having family along was icing on the cake.
We live about 30 minutes outside of Charleston and it's very convenient. A family member dropped us off and we met our son at ...
So we used Faster To The Fun (FTTF) for the first time to sail on the Valor, loved it. The only issue experienced with it, is we did not get our luggage early as it states we would. We did love getting on the ship as soon as we checked in (11:15AM) and the short Guest Services line (really loved this), most the time I went to guest services the line was 10 to 20 people long. Either there was ...
Having cruised over 20 times with multiple companies and ships, we chose the Freedom because of its departure from Galveston and our large family could drive versus expensive airfares to Miami … unquestionably, the Carnival Freedom was the absolutely worst ship we have ever experienced.
The floor plan was horrible, always up & down ... bars and venues were all in small rooms with no windows ...
