Carnival Canada & New England Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Carnival exceeds expectations!

When my wife and I booked this cruise we didn't expect much. We had heard recent grumblings about how the service and quality on Carnival has hit bottom. We booked this cruise only for the itinerary (we have always wanted to visit Halifax) and thought our 2 children (7 and 11 years old) would enjoy the laid back Carnival experience and most of all the price was right. We boarded the ship with a ...

First Cruise - Carnival lessons learned

This cruise to Canada was "adequate". Pros: stateroom with oceanview balcony with one very comfortable king bed. 6th floor near front very quiet. Room service punctual, friendly. On the whole, maid service also very good -- although two calls had to be made on one occasion to get attention to our cabin. Pools: lots of pools and whirlpools to choose from with or without children. Wine prices per ...

After reading about the physician who had the worst cruise ever (one of the reasons was they called him by his first name after he registered with Carnival as a doctor!!! OMG how terrible they did not recognize G-D was on their ship), I thought I would add my own opinion. This was our fifth Carnival cruise and around 15 in total. After our 2011 Carnival cruise which was a nightmare we decided to ...

My first cruise was on Norwegian Sky, so unfortunately the bar was set pretty high. My second cruise was on Carnival Paradise, and I wish I avoided all the shows on that one, as it wasted precious time. This review is about my third cruise on CARNIVAL GLORY, 4 days from NYC to Saint John Canada... My review is a mixed bag, but surprisingly it is positive! My group had a total of 13 people: my ...

Glory was a fun time...but...

Embarking on the Carnival Glory for a 5 nite cruise from Manhattan to Canada we were first time Carnival cruisers, with 4 other cruises under our belts. There is definitely a difference. Can't knock vacations, but Glory seemed to be densely packed. Yes, a cruise ship fills up with 3000 people and 1000 crew, but everywhere you turned you were cheek to cheek with people. The only place there was a ...

We booked this cruise on short notice. It was inexpensive ($619 balcony pp) and out of NY which were 2 big items since this was our 3rd cruise this year. Cabin was nice. Ship was clean. There were more kids than we normally see on a cruise, but that was fine. They seemed to be having a great time, and for the most part were being supervised. We wound up with anytime dining-which we didn't like. ...

I always read the reviews on cruisecritic for tips and to see other people's views on a trip before I take it. All I can say, is that I hope that the overly negative reviews from certain people (Doc is one example!), do not deter you from taking this cruise. Before I give my review, I also need to point something out that I noticed in the negative reviews. It seems that almost always, the negative ...

It's my husband and I one year anniversary and we decided to take a cruise on Carnival Glory departing out of Boston on July 14th. Getting there: In celebration of our anniversary we headed up to Boston on the 12th. My dad was so gracious enough to drive us into NYC from Long Island to catch Amtrak at Penn Station. Being from NY traffic is a normal way of life but boy did we cut it close to our ...

Part I - Precruise A. Inception We chose the Carnival Glory since they were the only ship sailing to New England in July when we wanted to travel there. This is our first time on Carnival. We have previously sailed on Princess to Alaska, and Celebrity to several destinations. Our group of 15 family members were here for a reunion in celebration of my mother's "diamond" birthday. B.
