The ship was huge, needed a sat nav to find your way around.
Sailing was a very exiting experience
The cabin was awesome
Dining wasn't all it should have been, not enough staff to be efficient, had many problems with the service due to staff shortage which let the customers down.

It's probably easier to list the pro's and cons of this Carnival cruise....
Pro:
-Embarkation onto the ship was absolutely fine/seamless.
-Lovely staterooms, nice and spacious (had a balcony room)
-Lots of things to do, especially for children and teens
-Food varied and to a good standard

Embarkation went smoothly - short wait in the hall due to the queue. Ship was brilliant, obviously still quite new, staff very friendly and everywhere cleaning all the time. We had an inside cabin for 3 which was fine. More than enough room for us to hang out and storage. Turned the TV on each morning to view the webcams to see the view.

arrived at port around 11am had time of 11.30 was on board in under a hour excellent
when on board went to cabin on level 1 1249 basic cabin but fine
headed upstairs hit guys burgers i love these did a quick look round went back to cabin wife and child's luggage where there mine was lost eventually went to guest services at 7pm and it was there the tag had been ripped off

In 2011 we sailed on the Carnival Magic on her second cruise. I am surprised at the really bad comments. We went as a group of 3 middle aged ladies who shared one balcony cabin, we opted for the sofa bed and two single beds. First time we've cruised with Carnival and I think it will be the last. Nice ship but lacking the wow factor. The dining system is crazy - you have to go and book a time 15 minutes before you want dinner. We have cruised with a number of cruise companies, the itinary looked great and a new ship. Last year we sailed on Royal Carribeans then new Anthem of the Seas and had a great time, the appeal was a new modern ship,with a good itinary.
