Getting on the ship was such a breeze. Hardly any waiting, very organized and was on the ship before we knew it. We had a great time and did a bit of everything. Shows and comedians were good. My husband did the Behind the Scenes Tour and really enjoyed it! We also did the Chefs Table which was out of this world from beginning to end! They had a guy named KISHORE doing card tricks and believe me I ...
The reason for this cruise was to scatter my husband's ashes. He and I were avid cruisers and his wish was to be scattered at sea so he could be "fish food". Our favorite cruise lines were Celebrity and Holland America, but since there would be children and 30 somethings traveling, I felt Carnival would best suite our needs. I was joined by two of my 4 step-daughters, their husbands and 4 of my ...
First of all we found out we got ripped of by our vacation specialist that is a joke.
It was so much trouble getting on and off. Hardly anyone spoke English. There was so many kids just running crazy. The pools were so small you couldn't even get in. The adult section was so small it was packed everyday. We went the bahama's we had so little time. You had to walk though the smokey casino to get ...
We love Carnival especially the Pride ( it is our favorite Ship so far ) the cruise was a blast. The food in the MDR is the best. The staff and crew are Fantastic very Friendly. We like all the choices they give you on the Lido deck. The shows are good. Our cabin was great very spacious and clean ( that is what we love about Carnival is the bathroom is big enough for 2 to get ready at same time ...
The staff and crew of The Pride is just plain outstanding. Wonderful. I don't have a single complaint. After a few days you feel like old friends. The decor is a bit weird, on board entertainment is just so-so (not for lack of effort or talent, it's just strange...), and the itinerary is "eh". The Grand Turk day ends at 2PM. Freeport ends at 1:30... really? Get off the ship at what,7:30 in ...
Is was our third bi-annual Spring Break cruise with grand-kids. Sailing from Baltimore is great since the port is only 40 minutes from our home.
We opted for Ocean Suites this time around since the little ones aren't so little any longer. We really enjoyed the extra space, and there was more closet and drawer space then we needed. The bathroom had dual vanities which also came in handy, and ...
We choose this cruise based upon the dates and location of the port. It was the kids (ages 15 & 17) spring break and being based out of Baltimore meant that we didn't have to fly.
Embarkation and Disembarkation were so smooth and quick, thanks to Faster to the Fun. We won't sail Carnival without it.
The ship was a beauty. Easy to get around. No dead ends. Everything you need is on ...
This is my second time on the Pride. We love the Pride! My husband and I were disappointed with the singers on the cruise. We felt their voices were just average (perhaps we were just spoiled from our first cruise when the entertainers were amazing!)
We spent most of our time onboard at the Serenity pool. They did a much better job this time with cracking down on the people who tried to ...
This was our first Carnival cruise and it exceeded our expectations. Previously, we had cruised on NCL quite a few times along with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity. We chose Baltimore because it is within driving distance and significantly easier to manage than NYC.
It would be hard for me to imagine a port easier to get in and out of than Baltimore. Parking is reasonable ($15/day) and the ...
We loved our first cruise. What would have made it better for us is entertainment earlier in the evening, music less loud, and a piano bar more focused on connecting people via their own singing rather than the virtuoso performance of the entertainer.
Otherwise, we were pleasantly surprised to enjoy just hanging out in the various spaces. No trouble at all with loud kids or adults. Room was ...
