Wanted to try a cruise out of Baltimore as it was close to home (1 hour drive). Our boarding pass said arrive between 1230 and 1 PM so we did. Waited about 90 minutes from getting in line to getting on board. Nobody ever checked the time on our boarding passes. The couple traveling with us were scheduled to board between 2:30 and 3 but no one ever checked their pass and they boarded with us. Why ...
We chose Carnival because it was recommend by a friend. It was a great time, Our group was from 8 to 70 and all had something to do. The excursions that we booked through Carnival were superb. The food was great and our dining accommodations were excellent.
Having never cruised before we learned that we do not want in the back of the ship but that was our choice. The interior cabins were ...
David's steakhouse is the best! Room Steward (Domingo) was awesome! The Pride sailing to Bermuda, what could be better-our favorite ship sailing to our favorite island!!!!!! We loved the Max to the 80's show-WOW, great entertainment. Coffee bar is awesome, day and night. Would definitely like the tablecloths back on the tables EVERY NIGHT. We don't like our silver ware to be placed directly ...
we have been on the carnival pride before, and we like the size; not too-too big(but still managed to get lost from time to time).
cruise was smooth. even tho waves were high a few times. we had an extended balcony 7199 on deck 7. good central location for going down to dinner on deck 3, up to buffet/lounging on decks 9 and 10.
sat at late dining at table for 8 all new to each other. ...
Travelled to Bermuda from Norfolk two years ago with Carnival. Many extended families, seemingly with navy affiltiation of some sort were on that 7-day cruise.
In 2017, Norfolk not available for a 7 day, so chose to debark from Baltimore to take advantage of a full 7 day cruise, allowing for more time in Bermuda. This time, we saw mostly just small groups or couples. We read Pride has a ...
We chose this cruise because we knew several people who had gone on it. First of all dealing with Carnival is a nightmare they can be so rude totally unhelpful. We wanted a cabin above the 3rd deck because of a horrible experience on a lower deck on Royal Caribbean. We ended up on the 1st deck no choice.
Embarkation was a nightmare(not their fault). The ship was late arriving because of fog. ...
We live in Western PA - almost to Ohio. This is our second time cruising out of Baltimore. Last time was the late debarkation when Hurricane Irene hit Baltimore head on in 2011. We drove down the night before and stayed at the Hyatt right inside the Inner Harbor. The Inner Harbor is nice, but if you've never been, just keep your wits about you. There are panhandlers, beggars and others that ...
I would recommend this destination to anyone wanting a change in venue. Bermuda was a nice change from island hopping! It was nice to see the nightlife for a change. Thanks to Ricky's Island Tours we saw everything of interest on the island and learned a great deal about the culture and history and it was half the price that Carnival wanted for an island tour. Embarkation was a bit distressing ...
I LOVE Carnival- have traveled other lines, but Carnival, and the Pride, remains my all time favorite.-Every staff and crew member is very kind, helpful and professional, and personable.--They will always go out of their way to help and have your wants and needs taken care of.-My cabin steward- MADE-(pronounced -'"ma-dee") from the Phillipines was Fantastic!!-He quickly attended to every need and ...
We chose this cruise mainly due to the Baltimore departure port, which for us meant a 550 mile drive vs a 1100 one to Miami. I think everyone on board picked this cruise for that reason as it seemed like 90% of the passengers were from within 3 hours of Baltimore. We stayed at La Quinta in Glen Burnie and that was a very good experience. Our room was 129 bucks, and that included breakfast, ...
