ust got off our cruise on the Ecstasy out of Charleston, and I thought I'd share a few notes with you all.
The embarkation went faster that we had hoped in Charleston. We arrived at the port at 11am and were onboard and in our cabin by 11:30. Eating lunch 10 minutes later. Having FTTF helped.
Guys Burgers were great, as were the tacos and burritos at Blue Iguana, pizza at Pizza Pirate, and ...
This was our first cruise on a ship this small and will likely be our only cruise on a small ship. Elation had just come out of an extensive dry dock a few months prior to our sailing and the decor was beautiful and the cabins comfortable.
The food in the dining room and buffet was average at best and mostly served at or below room temperature. Drinks and shows were the best part other than ...
We chose this cruise because of the gospel celebration going on...everything was great..
Getting on the ship was no problem at all...our departure was delayed due to fog about 5 hours because port was closed, that is how bad it was....but the staff was great during that time, they kept serving food and set up games to play , gave all of us a deck of cards...overall met all our needs.
The ...
I chose the ship because close to home 6 hours away and inexpensive. The entertainment was great. The rock show outstanding. The band sunset blvd was excellent. The only problem they were near the casino so some people smoked at the bar ugh!!! The show heart and soul very good. They only had 7 singers and dancers but made the shows work. The show Diva was good not great. Kevin the cruise ...
We had a great cruising vacation!. First let me say to those that frown upon carnival as being the cheap low end cruise line..let me say ..cheap is not the word.. but great value, food, entertainment, service are all words that should be used.! This was our 7th cruise and our 6th with Carnival and always a great experience! The one time we did stray was with NCL and all I will say is "never ...
We chose Carnival Pride for a winter getaway because the price was quite reasonable, the Port of Baltimore is less than 30 minutes from our front door and we had sailed the Pride in 2011 and were happy with it then.
Embarkation was a breeze. We got to the port at our chosen time,12:30, and got our Sign and Sail cards quickly and were on the ship in short order. When our cabin was ready ...
We take this ship because it's a great ship for first time cruisers and those who don't like the Butbig ships with long lines and too many guests. We just got off the Carnival Pride on Sunday Feb 11th 2018. It was a great cruise. The staff is always eager to please and grant you your requests. The only negative thing is that they got rid of a lot of tv channels. I realize that they want the guests ...
My husband and I are in our late sixties. We cruised out of Baltimore on Carnival Pride because the price is right, and it is convenient! I love Carnival because their crew is always so happy and helpful! I am a little tired of going to Florida, but it was a good ship day for us!
We took our son and his future wife and it was the first time on a ship for her. She was very impressed, not ...
Needed a winter getaway to someplace warm! This was our 10th cruise and 2nd with Carnival. We generally like quieter ships, but with the premium balcony, we spent most of our time quietly relaxing on our balcony lounge chairs! Staff were great and the only real complaint I have is the lack of focus on hand sanitation at the buffets. Many times the automatic sanitizers were empty and there ...
First of all this was my 6th cruise on the Carnival Pride but first time with my son. I took my 25 year old daughter on her first cruise in July 2017 and had an amazing time. This time I took my 24 year old son for his birthday, on his first cruise and we had a ball! My husband dropped us off. This was a Premier cruise so we had priority boarding, but Baltimore port is so organized that even if we ...
