We chose to leave from Baltimore so we did not have to fly. The port is 4.5 hours from our house. It was easy to navigate the port. We chose to park at the port and sped $105 for the week in parking so we could easily get to our home and get on the highway quickly.
We embarked on time. The first day was a little disappointing as it took forever for our room to be ready and even longer for our ...
This ship wasn't my choice however it wouldn't be in the future either.
Cons :
Old ship,
Very dirty,
hot tubs were not hot at all,
lots of places to eat but most were below average,
Dinning room has horrible service and is not classy at all. very unorganized choas!,
Leaving from baltimore was a horrible idea do to the weather,
The comedy shows were held in a threater ...
My husband and I just returned from a 7-night Bahamas cruise on the Carnival Pride, which was an excellent cruise. This was our third cruise, second on Carnival, but our first cruise since December 2012 (nothing against cruising, we were just busy doing other kinds of vacations). Two of the main reasons chose the Carnival Pride was because of its departure port of Baltimore (only an 8-hour drive ...
We had an amazing time on our first cruise. The ship was everything we hoped for. The food was great although we are not into fancy restaurants and ate at the buffet most nights. We did some of the entertainment activities and enjoyed those as well.
Our room was good, although being on Deck 2 meant that when there were big waves we heard "banging" as the water hit the hull. Our room was cleaned ...
We had been planning a cruise for over a year to celebrate a couple of milestone birthdays birthdays. Our first choice was a Southern Caribbean cruise out of San Juan, but due to the hurricane last fall, that became too complicated to get to for the group, so we selected the Exotic Eastern Caribbean cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale instead.
There were a total of 15 in our party, coming together ...
We chose this cruise for dates available and the home port. We needed a cruise between 3/10 and 3/18. This cruise was 4 days departing 3/11. We live near Tampa Florida, so leaving from Port Canaveral was convenient. We bought Faster To The Fun and embarkation was a breeze. We were on board the ship around 11:30. Our luggage arrived shortly after we got to our cabin. We found the crew to be ...
The bad-
Did not like the layout of the ship, hallways seemed smaller and more cramped then I'm use to. Low ceilings everywhere and not many open spots inside ship.
Impossible to get into a few comedy shows, lounge is just to small unless you want to wait 45 minutes.
The food was just very average and the wait staff in anytime dining seemed over worked and not very friendly.
The bed in ...
My friends and I booked this cruise last year for our kids March break 2018. It was my first time on a cruise. My overall experience was good. Ontime embarking and disembarking and was definitely smoothly. Cabin was decent, bathrooms were insanely small especially the shower, every shower created a wet floor a poor design to the shower stall. Beds were comfy and clean towels provided. we ...
We chose this cruise because it was a short cruise that met the needs of our traveling friends, and left from close to their home. Carnival Liberty had the best Cruise Critic reviews of any 4-5 day cruise out of Port Canaveral about the time we needed. The ship was a very pleasant surprise. The decor was quite unique (sort of a real carnival motif) and it was a refreshing change from the ...
This being my first cruise, I was a little apprehensive on what to expect, but I was looking to book my next cruise as soon as I was able to get cell service again. From Kevin, our cruise director, and his fun ship team, from embarkation to debarkation, they were there and full of energy, making you want to get involved and have fun.
Then the room steward team, with their towel animals, ...
