Just got off the carnival liberty yesterday was our 1st time on this ship I have to say I was very impressed . This was my youngest (7) 1st cruise and she had a blast. While I didn't utilize camp ocean a lot the times that she did go there she had a wonderful time. We did the build a bear activity and the Dr. Seuss breakfast. Loved Guys Burgers and Blue Iguana. The cruise director Donkey was great ...
Ok. We knew going in it was a older ship wanted a low cost 3 to 5 day cruise to Caribbean. Not all the latest accommodations as other ships. The ship was very clean . Dining room experience good .They should allow more food options on Lido deck. The burgers were very good. Kids had a great time. Entertainment was non stop. The staff was friendly and helpful. For the cost and length of the ...
Family of 5 with two teachers were forced to find a decent deal during Easter break. We liked the iternary on this cruise and the price for this Easter cruise was not obscene so we booked it.
We booked two rooms - 3 people in 1 room and 2 in the other.
Embarkation:
What an ABSOLUTE cluster!
We selected the second wave of embarkation reservations. So our slot was 11:30-noon. ...
I traveled with 4 families with kids between the ages of 10-16. We had a great time and loved the ports.
We flew in the night before and stayed at the Springhill medical center. Not the nicest springhill we have stayed in but did the job since we were only there 12 hours.
Everyone in our group had Faster to Fun or a Suite so we arrived at 10:25 and walked to the front of the line. At ...
Overall, this was the best cruise I have taken so far with Carnival (my 3rd one). This has mostly to do with the amazing ports that this sailing visited. I had an amazing time in the Dominican Republic and Grand Turk was by far the most beautiful place I have ever been in my life.
As far as the ship, believe the majority of the reviews, the ship IS older and definitely shows some signs of wear ...
We came from South Carolina, and the drive down 95 to Miami was horrendous. Unless you're within much closer driving distance, you might think about flying in to MIA. We passed eight pretty serious accidents and a lot of construction along the way that really slowed things down.
Embarkation: This was pretty smooth for us. We are Platinum, so we were ushered into a little lounge and started ...
This was our first cruise. We had an awesome time! The service and food were amazing! Our children loved the Carnival Youth Programs (Camp Ocean & Circle C). We really enjoyed the Military Appreciation Gathering. So glad Carnival took time to give thanks to our military, past and present.
FTTF made embarkation and disemarkation really fast and easy. Even though there were a lot of people coming ...
This was my 4th cruise, the 1st for my boyfriend & his children (16, 13 & 10)
Charleston is the closest port to us - about a 5 hour drive which was important since we were limited on time during the kids Easter/Spring break
Embarkation & disembarkation were seamless - employees were helpful, excited & worked hard to keep all of the lines moving. Parking at $20/day was a little pricey but ...
Depart from Jacksonville Fla went to Freeport&Nassau. Would not recommend Freeport as this island in recovery from hurricane in 2016. Most of the shopping in Port Lucaya were closed, several hotels closed. Several excursions were cancelled at last minute. Nassau was great, did the Atlantis Aquaventure waterpark. Highly recommend. All the staff were very attentive. Mary Anne on grand deck is ...
