I was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews. This ship is older but it was clean and the service was awesome. The food was average but I'm not a big eater so that didn't bother me any. The food in the dining room was better than the buffet food though. I'd definitely get a balcony room again, we spent quite a bit of time out there chatting and listening to music. The elevators were ...
Carnival is obviously the cheapest so I didn't have very high expectations. Being that it was my first cruise I read many reviews and was torn. Let me say I'm glad I made the decision to go with carnival!! despite many negative reviews, from my experience the cruise was amazing!!!! there was plenty of onboard activities and cruise director Tevin was very entertaining and full of energy! The ...
Charleston is the nearest port from our location and that is why we opted for it.
The Ship does not look like that it is 30 years old, we enjoyed our stay during entire duration.
Embarkation was very quick, we reached port at 1 PM and we were in Ship at 1:35 PM.
Stayed in Grand Suite, that was very nice and great balcony view.
We are pure vegetarian and there are less options available ...
We are from NYS so we chose this, our fourth cruise to leave from Baltimore and avoid the nonsense from the airlines. Six hour drive to the port from our house. That was a big plus. Baltimore cruise terminal was awesome at embarkation and debarkation. Lots of parking well organized etc.
We started out booked into an extended balcony, 2 adults, 2 kids, age 15 and 12. About 3 months out we ...
This was my first ever cruise and I get an unbelievable experience!

My family and I have been on several cruises and we chose the Carnival Sunshine based on the features that attracted my children. They loved the online photos of the SkyCourse, Water Works, and the Lido Deck. We were worried about the mixed reviews, but figured that we would take the chance.
The embarkation process was fairly quick and painless. We chose a 1pm board time since the place is ...
This was the first cruise my husband and I have ever been on. We selected Carnival because it was more budget conscious and we didn't want to waste a lot of money in case we ended up disliking the entire cruising experience.
We arranged bus transfer from Orlando Airport (we live in New York) to Port Canaveral through Carnival and that went very smoothly. I purchased Faster to the Fun which got ...
This was our 7th cruise on Carnival but our first in a little over a year. The new embarkation system is amazingly fast. The security person takes a picture of your passport picture and you are headed to the ship. Your boarding pass takes the place of your sign and sail card until your room is ready at 1:30 pm. Card are waiting in you mail holder outside your cabin door.
Conquest is an ...
This is our 10th cruise and 9th on Carnival.
We (wife and me) chose this one due to itinerary (stop in Half Moon Cay).
This ship is older one restored with new features (water park, rope course, seaside theater etc.). Balcony showed signs of wear.
Food was plenty and good.
We love the your time dining as we didn't have to wait in line and we showed up when convenient to us. Out of 5 ...
