Before I review our cruise I am going to share my experience at the muster drill and why Carnival needs to change this up before someone gets seriously injured or sick. We were on the ship early and had 2 drinks and lunch and then went to our room to change and my husband wanted a short nap before muster. I put away some items and went out on the deck to read. It was really hot so I came in and ...
It was our first cruise and I was a little skeptical after seeing the reviews but I really enjoyed myself! The ship was a little rocky only because a hurricane came through the day before. Lots of entertainment and things to do! Needs more pools! Food was absolutely terrible! I was literally starving and only ate ice cream so I made sure I got up for breakfast! Breakfast was the best thing going! ...
My Whole Family were able to book cruise together 13 in all and were able to get staterooms together as well . Carnival went out of their way to make our experience wonderful including 3 Birthday Celebrations while on board . Our Stateroom steward Alberto was wonderfully helpful always and I applaud the wait staff and all staff really for all they do . I shall return to carnival and if I could ...
Went with family of 8. Ages from 50 to 80. Maybe that was our problem it seems like carnival caters to a younger crowd. First off the staff were so friendly. Loved the service however found the shows in main theatre were very loud and featured rock music. My parents had to leave. Wish they had more variety, shows for all ages. Fourth cruise on carnival and I must say worst shows ever. Loved ...
I chose this cruise because it had two ports that I had not yet visited. I was disappointed for the following reasons:
1. The telephone in our cabin did not work. I called guest services, they promised to send someone but never did.
2. The air conditioning did not cool. Colter called someone and claimed it was checked but I couldn't tell the difference.
3. Guest services answered the ...
Wife and I just got off the 7 day cruise from Baltimore to Grand Turk, Half Moon, and Freeport.
We booked this cruise because it's easy driving distance and the balcony was super cheap. We had never had a balcony so we figured this was the one to try.
So, I'm gonna list my pros and cons.
Pros:
- We loved the way they did the Lido deck food on this ship. Different stations with ...
We chose this cruise primarily because Charleston is an easy drive from our home in east Tennessee. We actually took our first cruise from this port about 6 years ago, and upon our arrival found that little had changed except that there was no indoor parking available anymore. Embarkation was easy, as our luggage was off-loaded and on its way to the ship before we parked. We did have to wait in ...
This cruise matched perfectly my kids fall break and it was the reason we chose it. We got the extended balcony Grand Suite and had priority embarkation and debarkation. We are not heavy drinkers so we did not get any drink package and actually brought some wine in the boat. All the restaurants were really good and we did not have to wait long in line at the buffet or to be seated. There had so ...
This was our first cruise. It was everything and more. Our waiter in the dining area (Ashton) made our dining experience out of this world. Ian our waiter on the lido deck was one of the best. These 2 people made sure we did not go without anything. We never waited more than 5 minuets without them checking on us. The shows were phenomenal. Cam made sure everyone had so much fun. There was always ...
Chose this because of the ports of call, and the much shorter driving distance to port (6 hours to Charleston, SC. vs. 16 to Florida ports). *REALLY* regretting that now. Terrible food, EXCEPT Guy Fieri's burgers. They were delicious, but the other stations on the Lido deck, and the dining room (we got any time dining and were in the Wind Song dining room) - were TERRIBLE. Tough meat, fried ...
