It was our family’s first cruise. My wife and I brought our three children 12, 7, and 3. I could not believe how easy and quick the embarkation process was. We never waited in a line once we parked our car. Understand it was an off season cruise but it was amazing. When we got to our cabin things were ok. There was a funky smell that came from the toilets that was not pleasant. The rooms were ...
Embarkation was extremely smooth, probably due to the fact that we had purchased "Faster to the Fun". Our cabin was ready when we boarded around noon and the luggage arrived shortly there after as promised in the FTTF. This was the first time we have gotten a premium balcony cabin and we were not disappointed. Its size was immense; essentially a suite for the price of a balcony. Huge balcony ...
Port: Charleston- My mom is handicap with a placard. So we got free parking, otherwise it is $20 a day. Crew members directed us to where you give your checked luggage. Then they directed us to the handicap parking where a shutte was waiting for us. You will take your carry on on this bus. They drove us to the front.
SECURITY: We brought a 12 pk of soda each that we bungee cord to our carry ...

4. Pros-Good service staff and the small ship with small crowds was a nice change for us. The entertainment has greatly improved.
5. Cons- Embarkation-This port needs a lot of attention. It still looks like a deserted ship yard that they have kind of pieced ...
We went for a mother’s day adventure. Took my mother to the Bahamas. It was a great time. Staff makes the experience even better. Every staff member says hi in passing and you can tell they truly love their jobs. Cam is extremely entertaining and great at his job. Phillip, our photographer, was kind and takes amazing photos. Our dining team Dean, Anak and Deni made us laugh during our entire meal ...
Our cruise left out of Charleston and I was traveling with my daughter and two other friends. My daughter and I had a ocean view cabin #R188.
*If you are able to still cancel your booking, do so! This ship is extremely dated with rust and actual holes showing. There is a terrible sewage smell continuously and not all the elevators work and the ones that do, are questionable. I am so happy I ...
Safe to say after this I will never be on a Carnival Cruise again! Never, ever! Went on this cruise for my honeymoon + my husband and I were both highly disappointed. Disappointed is the understatement of the century. Would have been better off flushing our money down the toilet.
Negatives:
• Horrible food. Imagine Golden Corral gone terribly wrong, after an apocalypse.
• Buffet was ...
We choose this ship because we could drive to it from Philly. Once again we got sucked into Carnival because of the cheap price. Never again. The security getting on the ship was the worst ever, don't know what they were looking for but the line was terrible. From the outside of the ship we saw more rust than we did on any other ship we have been on. (about 12). The balcony cabin was fine, till we ...
This is not a mega sized or mega mega sized cruise liner - its an average sized carnival Ship, It was a very pleasant short cruise . Embarkation at the port had to be one of the fastest we have had, once we got to the terminal it was less then 10 minutes in the security / check in line , we choose to park at the port on shorter cruises (although they are using some weird math to essentially get an ...
I chose the Pride because I live in PA and the Port of Baltimore is only 3.5 hr drive. We are a family of 5 so flying is extremely expensive. So it was a no brainer to chose Baltimore. We decided to drive down the night before so we would be comfortable knowing we wouldn’t miss our cruise due to any unexpected traffic. We found an awesome Park & Cruise deal with the Staybridge Suites. You can’t ...
