I chose this cruise for the ports of call namely Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, and Amber Cove- certainly, all of these ports were absolutely wonderful to visit! The Conquest is an average ship, we enjoyed the sailing her but would not search her out again to sail on.
Pros: Casino smoke was not bad!
The layout of the ship is nice, it was not too difficult to get used to.
Guest Services had ...
I booked a balcony cabin for the Eastern Caribbean cruise with stops at Nassau, Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk and Amber Cove.
I opted for any time dining which gave me allocation to the Renoir Restaurant which is located in the middle of the ship.
I was located in cabin 6379 which was conveniently located within easy walking distance of elevators, near the middle of the ship. Standard balcony ...
I chose this cruise for a few reasons. I wanted to go to Grand Turk and Half Moon Cay, I liked the length of six nights, and the price was excellent, For the most part I was very satisfied with only a few irritations.
We had Faster to the Fun so embarkation was so easy. We literally dropped of our bags, went thru security and walked right onto the boat. Smoothest ever.
I talked my husband ...
We booked this cruise because we had a discount coupon from a problem on a previous cruise that expired this month.
Let me start by saying that the onboarding experience was excellent. Carnival has streamlined this process to the point where it was a joy! We practically walked through the whole process, despite the fact that we were 20 minutes early for our booked check in.
I'm sorry to say ...
I went with my friend who had an extra ticket. The food was great even the unusual food they served. The cabin was nice, but I was a little bummed the cabins only have one normal outlet. Our room keeper, Su, was wonderful and always greeted us by name when he seen us. Even by the first day. There were great activities on board. Dining was great and waiters very patient. I had Rouelo and Marco. ...
I'll preface this by saying that it had been almost 10 years since my last cruise, and at that time i was only a 18 year old teen who's sole ambition was to drink myself to death at the ports. So needless to say this one was like my first cruise all over again
I went on the Carnival Freedom with a big group of about 20 people of different age groups. Everyone had a great time and was able to ...
This was our second cruise. Previous was on Carnival Valor. It "WAS" an annual anniversary trip. NOT ANYMORE!!!
Here are some of the "highlights" - I told Carnival I would not stop telling everyone till they compensated me for a replacement cruise or at least half price. We got a $100 on board credit for our next cruise. I got food poisoning on the first night after my grilled chicken was ...
I went on this cruise with my husband, two sons 22 and 15 , mother in law and sister in law. we had three rooms. everything was smooth and great. I give everyone from the cruise director leon, the dining staff Phillip to the stewards a wonderful rating they gave all of us a nice time our rooms clean I dropped a crumb under the bad to prove to my husband that they clean every part of the room. The ...
The food selection was good and you could eat as much as you wanted, which I did. The drinks had a generous amount of alcohol in them, which was nice. I was on floor 1 (close to the bottom of the ship), and had a very nice, clean room. The room service did a great job of cleaning and supplying plenty of towels. I really appreciated coming back to my room to a made bed.
There was plenty of ...
My wife and I wanted a short cruise within an easy drive of our home near Wilmington, NC. While we normally cruise with Celebrity we were pleasantly surprised with our experience aboard the Carnival Ecstasy.
We normally cruise in a balcony stateroom but since they were in short supply we opted for an ocean view stateroom since it was only a 5 day cruise, I really missed having a chair to sit ...
