E244
Room: We booked E244 aft oceanview. We were told it was a little larger. We were really surprised at how clean and comfortable it was. I still brought Clorox wipes and wiped surfaces down. I checked for bed bugs and found everything spotless. The pillows and comforter were down with a nice duvet cover. The bathroom was spotless as well. There were 2 nightstands, a chair, and a small stool that was under the vanity. There was also 3 large closets with plenty of hangers and 4 large shelves. Zaw, our porter was discreet but very helpful. We did give him a tip at the beginning of the cruise and he made sure that our ice bucket was always filled, our towels replaced, and our bed always fresh. He remembered our names and called us by name every time we saw him. He and the room was wonderful. Above us was the crew smoking area so we did not hear any noise except one morning. I wasn't sure where it came from though. There was some banging and I did hear some talking. But again don't know where it came from, but it didn't last long. The shuddering that I had read about in aft cabins was very nominal. We did feel some slight shuddering and rocking, but it was like being in a low vibrating bed. We missed it after we left. We slept like babies every night. The ship tv had a few local channels and 2 movie channels. The only few downsides were that there was no clock except for the tv and there was no instructions for the wakeup call. I called the front desk and there was no answer. Note: your cell phones will not work for clocks because for some reason they go all crazy even on airplane mode. The ship slips a day planner and agenda under the door each day and the night before departure with the debarkation procedures included. The other was that the potable water to brush your teeth and face was disgusting. It left the worst aftertaste in your mouth and it smelled terrible. I ended up using bottled water to brush my teeth. Cabin was near buffet area and serenity deck.  Read entire member review.

Great central location next to stairway and elevator. Hallway was noisy, but I don't think the location of the cabin made much of a difference to that fact.  Read entire member review.

Cabin was okay. Seemed a little smaller than what we are used to. TV was difficult to work in that the channels seemed all over the place. We like to watch the ship shows on TV at night over and over and over. Also, could not access dining room menus on TV as have been able to on other ships. Cabin was clean and in good condition and comfortable. Phone auto dial buttons did not work. Tried several times for wake up call and any time we used one of the auto dial buttons it always dialed Medical Emergency. Our Cabin Steward Kevin was very nice. Did not see much of him though.  Read entire member review.

Wow, very impressed at size. It was not as small as I thought it was going to be. We had plenty of room and liked our cabin very much!  Read entire member review.

Nice aft view, slightly larger than regular OV room due to curvature of hull, two AC vents so always cool, flat screen TV, quiet rear hallway location.  Read entire member review.

IMAGINATION STATEROOM M65 OCEAN-VIEW Mid ship. Quiet location, great view up an down the ship. NO support bar in shower if you need one. NO clock in the room, but there is a ships clock on the Carnival TV channel. NO hair dryer in this cabin if you need it. Would like SHIP MAP included in either bathroom basket or the desk binder. Closet shelves can be dropped if you need additional hanging space. 1 outlet in the main room. Pack a small power strip if you need it.  Read entire member review.

We had a category 6C Oceanview. The size of the room was adequate but the curtains were extremely dusty. The location was fine but the hallway was noisy during the night with other passengers. We did find the bathroom a bit small as we are used to the bathrooms in the larger ships.  Read entire member review.

Great 4 night getaway! by cruisebabe23
Cabin U226 on Carnival Imagination: Location was great for us. Not in a high traffic area. It had a great view of the wake off the back of the ship. No sofa in the cabin, but that didn't bother us. We rarely use the sofa anyway. Bathroom was quite small (as on most cruise ships)but the shower was a decent size and the shower head was great. All in all, very nice accommodations for 4 nights!  Read entire member review.

Newly remodeled and much larger than I expected. For a 14 year old ship, the cabins looked brand new.  Read entire member review.
