Nice Quick Cruise by waynebrk

Great location. As with all cabins on this ship, no blowdryer and limted bathroom shelves/ storage. Sometimes difficult to get the temp right (sometimes it was even muggy in the room). There is some mechanical noise early morning above the cabin every day (wore earplugs).

Our room was small but clean. Had the best room attendant by the name of Agus.

Outstanding by Lucky dozer

Cabin E192 and cabin E188 are great cabins for the price. Includes two twins and a vanity area. Room was very quiet and there was not a lot of noisy traffic in hall, above or below.

A great little get-away by funinthesun86

We loved the location of our room, E200, an inside room on Empress Deck Aft.  We could go up the back stairway two flights to the adults-only Serenity, our favorite place on the ship.  We also had a great cabin steward who was pleasant and efficient.

Cabin E257 was in the back of the ship. It was pretty quiet back there because it was not a main walkway. It was across from a convenient stairway that led to the Serenity Deck and another flight up to the Lido deck restaurant. The cabin had a decent size window facing aft. You do feel the ship's movement back here, so if prone to motion sickness, I would avoid it. We love the rocking of the ship, so we always choose this location. The cabin had 3 closets, 1 of which is made up of shelves & includes a safe. The bed was very comfy. There is a small vanity/desk top area with 4 small drawers. Only 1 plug in, so bring along a power strip to charge cell phones, cameras, etc. The bathroom has no counter top. You will need a hanging bag for toiletries. The shower does have a shampoo & body wash dispenser. There is no hairdryer in this bathroom. Don't make the mistake of leaving yours at home, like I did!  Read entire member review.

Much bigger than I had anticipated, but the TV is in the same corner as the headboard, making it impossible for you to watch in bed.  Great bathroom as well.  Read entire member review.

Great family cruise! by bassspanker

We were in cabins M1 & M3 on the Imagination. These were perfect for us, but maybe not for others.

First of all, these are porthole rooms, which I loved. They don’t give you much of a scenic view, but you can tell if it’s day or night and see if you’re in port or not, or moving, which is what really bothers me about interior rooms. If I want a view, I’ll go hang out at one of my favorite spots on deck.

These are at the very end of the hallway with no passing traffic. In general the rooms were quiet. EXCEPT- when pulling into port the front steering thrusters, the anchor, and other associated mechanical noise were VERY loud for maybe 20-30 minutes. So, basically this was our alarm clock. That was fine for us since we generally wanted to get up & get to the port before the rush. But if you want to sleep in, this is not the cabin for you. While docked in port there was some engine rumble that we could hear & feel, but not bad. It was very quiet while sailing.

In our particular case, we were less worried about being insulated from outside noise, and more worried about protecting other guests from our noisy kids. With the kids in M1, they were insulated on all sides between my wife & I (in M3) and the mechanical area of the ship. There are no staterooms below this room, so they could stomp all they wanted. So this was a perfect setup for us.

The ship’s noise while pulling into port was actually kind of cool for the kids since they would hop up and look out the portholes to watch all of the docking activity. Really helps remind you that you’re on a ship and not in a hotel, which is a good thing in my book.

The room was good sized. Bigger than the pictures made it look like. Plenty of room to move around for two people. There was PLENTY of storage room so don't worry about that. The bathroom shower was big enough and had great water pressure. The TV is fine but I do wonder what you are doing if you are worried about a tv on a cruise.

Typical small inside cabin. When roll away open, very little room to maneuver. The person against the wall would have to climb on the bed or roll away bed to get to the bathroom. Bathroom quite adequate. We really appreciated the easy to use safe.  Read entire member review.

Basic cabin, small television, nice colors, no hallway noise, lots of storage, a/c fan a little loud.  Read entire member review.

Short and sweet by glfr72

The location is great for being near everything, it was a bit loud at dinner time as we were near the elevators and people walk by on their way out but it did not bother us at night, in the morning and we had no noise from either above or below. Water pressure on the shower was great, they put the mattress together to form a king my side sagged a little, my wife's side was comfortable.

Under the Weather by carlosandterrie
Room M210 is an outside room with a window located on the Main deck aft. This room is a connecting cabin. The room was clean and non-smelly. The bathroom was large for a cruise ship. This room had one bunk bed and a full size bed. Good room overall.  Read entire member review.

M56 is a great cabin since it is close to the stairs and elevators, but is still quiet. It must have recently been refurbished, because everything was in good condition.  Read entire member review.

The cabin - simply put was GREAT! The beds were perfectly comfortable, the sheets luxurious, pillows divine and the room scrupulously clean and the bathroom, though on the tight side, defintely had a spa-like quality and feel to it. The housekeeping staff was phenomenal. Definitely large enough for two - did not feel cramped at all and there was more than enough closet space and shelves for clothes. The in-room safe is not big enough for a laptop - which had I brought mine I would have probably been a little nervous about leaving in the room.  Read entire member review.

porthole room.. same size as ocean view rooms so a very good value. carnival does seem to give more square footage in their rooms for your dollars than other ships. Room was M29 on Carnival Imagination.  Read entire member review.

R189 - very nice cabin. It had plenty of room for two people. It had a pull down for a third person but with three adults it would have been tight. The bathroom was very large with plenty of room. The shower was large enough to shower with comfort.  Read entire member review.

Decent size for inside. A lot of storage space. Far from most of the action, but near the disembaraktion area for ports. No couch but has a chair.

A great time! by alliet10
Great location towards the front of the ship and near the elevators and stairs.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was great for just two people. We were on the Upper Deck and had an Ocean View. We really loved waking up in the morning with the sun rising. We did some research before we sailed and brought a mesh, collapsible clothes bin and also a cheap, clear shoe rack to hang over the door. Both of these things really helped keep our cabin in order.

Cabin very small but well appointed and comfortable. Plenty of storage space. Large window, very comfortable beds, well appointed. Mid-ship so convenient to all activities.  Read entire member review.
U189
U189 - close to elevators and easy access to dining. We couldn't hear the cabins above, below or beside us at all. The hallway was noisy due to a large group that often congregated there, but this was likely isolated to this particular group. The cabin was a bit small but the storage was adequate.  Read entire member review.

Cabin was ok. Roomy enough but needs refurbishing. Carpets stained. Beds ok.

This was an interior room midship. Size was as expected. Only down fall was the drains in the floor of the bathroom. Every time you shower the drain in the bathroom floods the floor.
