Our cabin was close to stairs but not very noisy. We switched on the a/c at night to generate some white noise, and slept peacefully.  Read entire member review.

Located well in relation to elevators and atrium. Quiet. Good closet space, good sized shower. Walking space between wall and one side of bed is pretty narrow, but usable. Comfortable bed. No hairdryers or mini bars on this ship.  Read entire member review.

The cabin didn't have too much hallway noise, but there was some noise from the floor above (dining area) at different times of the day. It was convenient to the dining room and to the grand atrium.  Read entire member review.

Quiet location. No couch with extra table like in the bigger ships. I like the bathroom because the shower is bigger and the there is a shelf for all you toiletries. Had to bring your own hair dryer.  Read entire member review.

I was in E244 and this was an AFT cabin with a back view from the window. Well, the disappointment began when I realized that this window was probably not cleaned in about several months as there was so much grime on the window that there was very little view at all! This cabin was basically right in the middle of the back end so it added a few extra square feet to the room. To give Carnival credit, they did a nice job with the bathroom remodel but the room itself seemed so basic. Aside from my beds there was only one wooden chair there--not exactly comfortable for sitting---though I knew that I was downgrading when I booked, I expected at least a small stuffed armchair! Now for me the clincher was this. My cabin was directly across from the stairwell landing that took anyone up to the next deck which was roped off as a crew rest area. From there passengers were able to walk up another flight to the serenity deck then one more to the buffet. The downside was this: the crew rest area was also a designated smoking area! This area covered that little side and all around the top of that deck. Hence, each time the door was opened on that floor, the downdraft took the smoke with it and it was blown right into my room! Damp towels helped that but then because the crew still smoked on the deck above, it got sucked into the AC unit and spread it through the cabin! In order to deal with this I had no other choice but to have an engineer come in and block the AC vent so this mean I was in a room with no AC in over plus 30 C weather--it was either sweat or choke. Unfortunately, the ship was full so there was no other cabin available for me to move to. Being severely allergic to smoke I then desperately asked if I could just end my cruise early in Key West and then make my way back to Miami from there. I found out that in order to do so would have meant a US gov charge for early departure of $395, plus proof of new hotel bookings to cover the days that I would remain in the USA then proof of purchase of how I would get to my departing flight. With the cost of the internet on the boat, trying to do all of that plus pay those other fees would have more than added up to an extra thousand or more, so I decided to swelter instead.  Read entire member review.

I was in cabin E69 on deck 7, the emppress deck. This room is in the middle of ths ship. Great location. Elevators and stairs are not too far away. This room is the last room in the middle right before the atrium, behind guest services and next to the computers. You do get some of the noise from people walking by who are loud. Some people can just be rude like that, but it wasn't so bad that we had to complain. People just having a good time. The room itself was nice. Comfortable bed. No major complaints other than the rough towels. They provide extra body soap, lotion and razors in a little dish on the bathroom sink counter. No fridges in the room.  Read entire member review.

The cabin shows it's age, however it was reasonably clean, there were no mechanical issues, the size was similar to other lines of the same category. The window was a decent size without obstruction, other than it needed a healthy cleaning. The cabin steward did a fine job. Closet space was very good, suitcases fit under the bed and the free in cabin safe worked well.  Read entire member review.

We were in E173. The room was small, but I expected that. Closets were enough space for the four of us. The location was nice since it was right by the stairs that led to the restaurants. The bottom bunk wasn't big enough for an adult, but was perfect for my kids.  Read entire member review.

No problem with our cabin. Size was bigger than I expected, although certainly not "roomy". Configured to maximize space. Bathroom was adequate. There was a small desk and large mirror to get ready while the other person used the bathroom. The cleanliness was A plus and the stewards cleaned every day, including refilling our ice buckets. Turndown service at night with their little "towel creation" was nice.  Read entire member review.

We had ocean view cabins. We found our staterooms to be very adequate! People complain about the size of cruise rooms but ours were very comfortable. The beds especially were divine! The bathroom/shower was comfortable too and very clean. We had connecting rooms with our parents, and strangers on the other side, but no problems with noise. My brother had a room across the hall from us next to a couple that enjoyed their "alone time" - so much so that we could hear them all the way down the hall! We had two ample closets, plus space under the bed.  Read entire member review.
