Two twin beds (can convert into queen-size), private balcony, sitting area with sofa bed and private bathroom with bathtub. (357 sq. ft., balcony 116 sq. ft.)
Enormous balcony. Big enough for a party. Very quiet room. Lots and lots of space for three of our clothes.
Nowhere to store three cases - we hid them behind the curtain.

Our grand suite was located right underneath the windjammer and was very noise, since we were upgraded for free I didnt complain but if I had paid for it I would definitely have said something Read entire member review.
This is pre refit. Spacious, but tired, in need of coat of paint and re laminating some of finishes. Bathroom big, but you will bang your head if over 6 foot! Read entire member review.
Grand Suite 8016 on Deck 8 - forward - Enormous, bathroom huge and marble. Lots of wardrobe space and so many drawers we could not fill them. The bed was Kingsize, the robes and towels were so soft and sparkling white. Our balcony was massive with 2 chairs, 2 loungers and 2 tables. The privacy screens really were perfect, you could see nothing of your neighbours through them. We had a sofa bed and 2 armchairs, a coffee table, television, dressing table. There were mirrors everywhere so you always knew how good or bad you looked,we could not hear anything from any of the adjoining cabins, the hallway was never noisy. The very best though, was our Cabin Steward. Top marks to him. Read entire member review.
Great cabin space-so many closets and drawers, it would be impossible to fill them all up, especially with only 2 people in cabin. We did hear noise of WindJammer above us in the mornings when lounge chairs were being moved around. But most mornings, we were up early enough for it not to bother us too much. We were close enough to internet cafe that we could get wireless in our cabin on some days, but if not, we were just down the hall from it. Great water pressure in the shower, much better than in the spa, which is unusual. Read entire member review.
We were in a suite, so it was quite spacious with a bar and pull out couch in the room and a bathroom that I am ashamed to admit is larger than in my NYC apartment! Our balcony was also much larger than expected with room for two chairs, table, and a lounge chair. Very quite with a great view, I highly recommend the suites on this ship. If you would like pictures I have some for review. Read entire member review.
We had a Grand Suite (aka the Villa Frenche suite) and it was remarkably well suited. The large balcony with table and two chairs really made a difference for a chance to get away from every one. We were on the port side, which didn't really make a difference. In Venice, our view was pretty cruddy of the docks, and the opposite side had a view of the city. But on the embarkation out of Venice, we had a great view of the city as we left.
The bed was comfortable and the room had its own thermostat. We had enough drawers and hangers to unpack. There were only two electrical outlets, so keep in mind for recharging batteries and using for curling irons and electric razors. The bathroom was a good size with two sinks and a shower/tub that could have been used for a bath, though we never took one.
The room did have a small fridge for a mini-bar for items they would charge you for. We did keep some fruit in the fridge and that was about all. We also got Ghirardeli chocolates every night on our pillows, which was a nice touch. We rarely ate them after the decadent desserts at night and most ended up in the mini fridge.
The service attendants were great. They made up our room every morning and turndown service every evening. Fun little towel animals greeted us most evenings too.
The Grand Suite also has some great perks like free booze in the concierge lounge between 6 and 9pm. Sometimes we would grab a drink before and/or after dinner. There was also some breakfast items, including coffee and juice in the mornings. I really liked having the coffee option in the morning as we got ready. We also didn't have to get or wait for our number to be called when we tendered. We just boarded whenever we wanted.
If you book a Grand Suite, be sure to ask for one with a DVD player. It's a busy schedule and some nights we just wanted to relax and rent a movie. Unfortunately, our suite was one without a DVD player, so we were left vegging out to some movie we had seen or didn't want to see. Read entire member review.
