Cabin 7032
We booked late and as there were only 2 balcony cabins left we were offered the Disabilities cabin. When I looked at the deck plan I saw that this cabin is about twice the size of the other balcony cabins, this meant the balcony was nearly twice the size and so was the ensuite. It also meant the windoes were wider and allowed more light into the room which is a plus, we sleep with the curtains open. I think because it is a larger room that there may also be more cupboard space. The room is a little tired and very basic but it was clean and nothing seemed to need repairs (I understand it is going in for a refit soon). There was soap and a container of liquid on the wall in the shower which I took to be shampoo but we used our own. Tissues are supplied and a hairdryer. You may need to take an adapter for wall plugs and there is only one in the cabin area near the desk for the hairdryer. The shower has a shower curtain but it was a large shower probably for the use of wheelchairs. I had read that the sofa can be uncomfortable but ours was just fine. The TV was an old style (who cares).
There is 3 chairs and a table on the balcony. The location was just around the corner from the elevators. The room was very quiet and we didn't hear ANY noise during the day or night. Just be aware that neighbours can hear every word you say when you are on your balconies. We enjoyed our room. Read entire member review. |

Balcony Cabin 7098 was great. Good size, plenty of cupboard, drawers etc. Great to have a kettle for tea and coffee making in the room. Cabin was near the elevators so hallway was sometimes a little noisy with other passengers. TV reception was bad most of the time, due I am sure to ancient TV set. Programme selection very repetitious. Shower curtains annoying in such a small shower. Beds/pillows were very comfortable. Read entire member review. |

Cabin and balcony space were larger and a lot more comfortable than Dawn Princess. Cabin air conditioning was good. Cabin staff seemed to be forever working (all day) rather than getting their job done in the morning and disappearing until evening. Passageways were always partially blocked by trolleys night and day and everpresent fussing attendants. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 7538 - great location, close to elevator up to Windjammer! Lots of closet space even for a shopper like me! Nice balcony and comfortable beds. I do prefer the Junior Suite for sure as I like a bigger bathroom, but this is a good cabin if a balcony is all you can get or afford at the time. Read entire member review. |

Good space, but better if double and not twin beds. Bathroom OK, good shower, plenty of hot water. Shower curtain needs changing though. Plentiful clean towels. Linen changed regularly. Balcony with unimpeded views mid ships. Read entire member review. |
