We had a great view from our room and balcony. The suite was quite comfortable and spacious for two.

We stayed in a Grand Suite 8012 with is located on the bridge deck, close to the stairs and elevators. But one level down from the Windjammer and two decks down from the kids program on deck 10. Neither effected our level of enjoyment. Our room Suite Attendant was Inyoman (Newman) and out of 20 plus cruises, he made it happen; noteworthy service and made our holiday special. From the cleanness of the rooms to perfect attentiveness with privacy consideration. Only one issue with this suite and suite 8010 next door is about twice a day we heard a puzzling beeping sound which Newman investigated and found to be that right above the room is a fire door for the Windjammer and when it opened it made a beeping sound which both room 8010 and I thought to be each others alarm clocks... With the grand suite you get the use on the Concierge Club, Crown Lounge deck and at your service is Concierge Amit Chattopadhyay - Amit makes it all come together and his right hand man, Sam, is fun and charming and makes a mean cocktail :). We loved sitting out on our balcony, Newman brought down lounge chairs for us as we sat in hopes of seeing a pod of whales.

Grand Suite - Fantastic Balcony.┬áThe balcony is double size as the room is twice the size of a standard room. Bath is roomy with double sinks, a deep tub, and storage behind the mirrors. The beds are behind the bath after entering the room so insulated from hall noise. Storage everywhere. Two closets, one double and one single with drawer in the bottom. Large L shaped sofa and two movable chairs around a coffee table that can double as an eating table with room service.  Read entire member review.

Customer Care by rwyeager
The junior suite cabin was great. It was midships and comfortable except for the problem with the engine. The grand suite was just a little better as far as room is concerned and it had a bathtub. Two sinks and plenty of storage. The age of the ship has many of the drawers and cabinettes in need of maintenance. They either stuck on opening or jammed on closing. Whoever designs a ship with the quality suites at the bow of the boat apparently does not travel much. Undulating seas will get to you quickly. The rough Tasmanian Sea rolled us well when we crossed from Melbourne to Tasmania. The ship lost about 500 dishes in the dining room and a wine rack overturned. The Windjammer restaurant had to curtail feeding because of the turbulence. It was if the Captain had pulled in the stabilizers.  Read entire member review.
