We were in cabin 2584 on deck 2. Very close to the main bank of elevators which was a good thing. Had a porthole. Room was tight but adequate and in a reasonable state of repair. Ample storage for hanging clothing and a fair amount of hangers. Beds were not Hampton Inn quality but comfortable enough. There was a lingering odeur of I don't know what in the proximity of the staterooms on our side of the ship. I would think they could have sprayed some Lysol spray to make it a bit less obvious. But it wasn't putrid and we didn't mind it all that much. Read entire member review. |

Small exterior room. Loved having the porthole though! Our previous cruises we had interior rooms. Our attendant was wonderful. It was very clean and in good shape. Read entire member review. |

Not much storage. The bathrooms need updating and fixing. Some decks had a smell of sewerage that was overbearing. Paper thin walls and can hear people in adjoining cabins. Read entire member review. |

I booked cabin #2646 which is the last cabin on deck 2 on the port side yes it was a very late booking so I did not expect a cabin in a prime location but the way the ship is set up you are no where near the elevator I recently cruised on the Oasis and there too I was at the aft of the ship but this time the walk was twice as long on the Monarch with happens to be a 1/3 shorter in length. when I got to my cabin and opened the door it smelled of body odor and and cigarettes, and was quite warm I told the man in charge of that floor and he had it sprayed and told me that lately that cabin has a bad smell every time it leave port and should go away when we sail. I turned on the A.C. and went to lunch and came back the cabin was still warm I called maintenance and they said they would look into it. the did "adjust it" but still warm I had no A.C. the entire cruise in my cabin. Best use of 117 feet I have found on a ship. We had our beds in an L shape which seemed to give us a lot more room. Read entire member review. |

Located at the front, port side, the room, though small, accomodated three females very well. Our beds made a "U" in the room, and under the pull down, we stashed our suitcases. There was more than enough room to put all our stuff away in the closet/drawers. **NOTE** bring more hangers!! The bathroom is tiny, but the shower was bigger than i remembered from a previous trip on the same ship, different cabin. There is little to no storage in the bathroom for toiletries (carnival has shelving on the mirrors).
The location is quiet, didn't hear almost anything (a little bit of anchor noise in port). Couldn't hear music, people in the hallways, etc. Read entire member review. |

Small room. Smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. Very noisy coming in to, or going out of, port. Not sure if it is the anchor but the mechanical sounds woke me from a deep sleep. Lasted only a few minutes then all was quiet again. Read entire member review. |

Excellent view, saw flying fish from our window! Bathroom was small. Room was far away from stairs. It was cleaned for us several times a day. Read entire member review. |

Excellent OV cabin, small room but more than adequate, extremely quiet, yet close & convenient to Centrum and shops. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 6518 is on the Tween Deck at the front of the ship. The room was small, but had ample storage. The environment was very quiet - we did not hear any noise at all except for the anchor being dropped at Cococay. Bathroom was tiny, but functional. We would choose this room again. 8526 was very small. This cabin has good-sized window, rather than a porthole, but is obstructed by the underside of a lifeboat. You can still see plenty, though, and it lets in lots of natural light, which is important to me. The beds were nothing more than glorified cots, but still comfortable. Previous cruisers are right about the small shower and the curtain that gets sucked in, but the pressure was great. Pressure from the sink faucet, not so much. Others have mentioned a sewage smell. We got a whiff one afternoon, and that was it. Our cabin steward, Leroy was thorough and not intrusive at all. We even got towel animals a couple of nights at turndown. Best thing about this cabin is it's convenient to everything. Read entire member review. |

Cabin was small and storage was tight. No safe and no refrigerator. Constantly had to ask for ice. Porthole window was not very accessible unless you stood on bed. Read entire member review. |

Very tiny, can't see the TV from the bottom bunk. It was relatively quiet, although we could smell cigarette smoke in our hallway. Read entire member review. |

Port hole ocean view. Near front of ship. Could hear waves crashing against hull of ship. Okay unless it makes you uneasy. Read entire member review. |
