It's everything you expect in an older, oceanview cabin - small but adequate.  Read entire member review.

WHOAH. WHO knew they had a cabin right on top of the wenches for the anchors and bow lines. It was extremely noisy when they were docking or anchoring. Remember this happens late at night or at dawn. Since only one central elevator on this ship(vs two on others) it was a long walk to cabin. It was however quiet from hall noise. Tiny cabin as compared to same or balcony room on other ships.  Read entire member review.

If you have cruised on the Monarch (or one of her sisters), you know how small the staterooms are, so I will spare you those details. Since we booked so late, this was the last room of the fare class, and wow, never again. The stateroom is in the very very front of the ship. In fact, we had trouble finding it because you wind back through a couple of hallways to get there. The biggest downfall though was the fact that when the anchors were lifted in Nassau, we heard everything. We aren't night owls, and the noise at Midnight was not good. On the plus side, the window sits back about 4 or 5 foot from the wall, and there is a nook leading to the window. It gave us lots of extra storage. So that was nice!  Read entire member review.

Slightly obstructed view, good storage space, but a small cabin and tiny bathroom. Location was convenient but across from the cabin steward's supply closet.  Read entire member review.

Outside cabin with Obstructed view! Small, but livable. Shower was small. Plenty of storage space and bed was comfortable. No noise!  Read entire member review.

Nice adequate room. Not very big, but well laid out. Bath is small, bit larger than some. Hard to regulate the temp on the shower.  Read entire member review.

Small room, but pretty good view. About 60% obstruction.  Read entire member review.

Very tiny room, great location close to elevators and stairs, no view.  Read entire member review.

The room is small, but we knew that in advance. The closet is small, but was fine for a 4 day cruise. We had enough hangers and 6 small drawers for the rest. Our toilet had problems flushing, but maintenance fixed it when it failed (it would have been nice if they had fixed the problem rather than just get it to flush on that occurrence). The obstruction wasn't as bad as we thought it would be. We had plenty of hot water, the AC worked good and the bed was comfortable.  Read entire member review.

8574 This was an ocean view cabin with an obstructed view. We still got lots of light and sun and could see the ocean. This was the smallest cabin I have had on any ship, but had a comfortable bed, new bedding and good storage. The closet was well designed. The bathroom was the smallest on any ship and lacked storage. It needs shelves at the sides of the mirror for storage. We managed, but would have like some bathroom storage. Though the cabin and bathroom were small, we were comfortable in this space. We heard music every night from 10:00 or so until maybe midnight. Maybe from the bar at the end of the hallway. We were tired enough that we slept anyway.  Read entire member review.
