The actual cabin was as expected, cozy but comfortable. The bathroom looked old and grungy and we had continuous problems with plumbing throughout the cruise (the toilets would randomly stop flushing), as did many others on Deck 2.  Read entire member review.

Nothing Royal About It by disneymom72
Tiny, no safe, rust in bathroom, smelled like sewage, Very dated, looked like 1980's decor. Cabin 2628 on the Monarch of the Seas  Read entire member review.

Very, very small room, had to crawl over the bed to get into it and was the most uncomfortable I have ever tried to sleep on, closet was tiny and awkward to use.  Read entire member review.

Small room, good location. No room safe. Bathroom small, shower tiny. Closet okay with plenty of hanging and shelf space. Large window.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 5516 is on Deck 5, near the bow of the ship. It is one of the forward most cabins on the ship. In calm waters, there was almost no sensation of movement except a bit of roll (left/right). In slightly rougher waters (2-3 foot seas), the sensation was exasperated considerably. Anchor was pretty loud, but it didn't bother me too much (I like hearing that sort of stuff). Bow thrusters were also very audible, as were bow line winches. Internally, very quiet with little traffic in the hallways. Cleaning crew set up a couple doors up, but usually not a big deal at all.  Read entire member review.

Had adjoining cabins 5550 and 5552. Cabin was small, but that was expected. Great location, close to everything.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was a bit tight but very comfortable. I am not sure if it was the ocean waves or the beds themselves but we slept very well. The shower was a bit small and the shower curtain kept sticking to me...that was kind of annoying but not that big of a deal. There was closet space and space under the bed to store any baggage you bring on board. The vanity area worked nicely. No in room safes but didn't feel at all uncomfortable leaving things in bags stored under the bed or in the closet.  Read entire member review.

Relaxing Get Away by Buttercup229
Cabin was a decent size, two adult women, had enough room to put our things away and not step all over each other. The bathroom desperately needed clorox and a new shower curtain. We brought our own wipes and spray so it was okay. Room had a musty smell that we couldn't get rid of. Our cabin steward was not the best. He did the basics that was all. Picked up dirty towels and emptied the trash. We asked for additional bath towels and 4 face cloths. On the the second day we got 6 bath-towels, but no face cloths. I called housekeeping and another person brought the face cloths in record time. Overall, if we could have taken back part of his prepaid gratuity we would have considered it.  Read entire member review.

We had #6040, an outside on the "tween" deck #6. It was fine for 2, and did have a pull-down single bed so a 3rd person could have been with us. We missed the couch, refrigerator and safe though. There wasn't much space in the bathroom for toiletries, etc. There was plenty of closet space and drawers in the vanity. The TV was on a shelf below the vanity, not a good spot for it as we could not watch from both beds. We didn't hear a lot of foot traffic, maybe since it was the "tween" deck not a lot of people walked through. The walls need to be soundproofed better, as we could hear other people snoring, coughing and sneezing. :( The shower curtain needed to be replaced. The beds were comfortable though.  Read entire member review.

Having stayed in this same category on other boats this room is slightly smaller than usual. However, the shower is larger than usual. Our stateroom attendant, Elvis, was wonderful and always available. The bed was very comfortable. This side of the ship offered a great view of Coco Cay, but while in Nassau, we faced the neighboring ship and the view was lousy. The last night of the cruise it was rather noisy, but this was due to the handling of luggage and would have been heard in any room.  Read entire member review.

Cabin # 7546 Ocean View Forward Starboard Deck 7 While the cabin size has been talked about as 120 sqft and small the reality is that it is a short cruise and unless you are sick or under some sort of cabin arrest you aren't going to be doing more that sleeping, showering or changing so for 2 people the space and efficiencies are good. Wouldn't to spend a week cruise in it but for 4 nights its fine. Locatiion was great with good access to elvators and stairs ( use the stairs to justify your meals and desserts ). No late night noise from music or machinery. Great location for access to pool and windjammer as well as straight walk across deck 7 to the Centrum Also for an older ship our block of cabins were well maintained and very clean and a couple of the ladies in our group can be somewhat anal when it comes to clean and germs and they had no problems!!  Read entire member review.

Room was great....very small but nice. This ship is being retired so not going to spend much time on this!  Read entire member review.
8046
Cabin 8046 was conveniently located just maybe 50 ft from the elevators. The room was exceptionally clean and clean smelling also very quite. The ocean-view really was unobstructed even though the lifeboats were outside the window. Your view is structured that you are looking under the lifeboat and can see the ocean and out away from the ship. The overall size is a little small but manageable for two maybe a small child also. Bathroom is small but works well, there is not a separate toilet room as it is in the same room with the shower so really only one guest at a time. The room location is also perfect in that when going to deck 11 you exit the elevator right at either the pool or Windjammers the buffet restaurant. One more floor up is the pizza and soft-serve ice cream area. We will request this area on future cruises.  Read entire member review.

Girls Getaway by moonpie906
Tiny cabin, lots of noise from the lounge and Lido deck. Hallway was like a tunnel as far as echos. Sewage smell on deck 8. Water pressure from faucet was very low and the water from the faucet smelled like sulfur. A/C in this cabin did not work well. Filters need changing.  Read entire member review.

7018 - small rm. but delightfully cozy for middle aged couple. Bathroom small but clean. On jogging track deck but still private and quiet. Heard no noise from other cabins.  Read entire member review.

Small cabin with a small bathroom. Very typical of a room on a cruise ship. However, there was no safe in the room.  Read entire member review.
