Good Cabin, location midships very good balcony always a plus. Some passageway noise from young teenagers middle of the night. Plenty of storage, old television, small but well kept bathroom. The size no surprise and as expected well maintained by cabin crew. Read entire member review. |

First of all my wife and I are experienced cruisers with many cruises on Royal Caribbean and other lines. We are generally big fans of RC but not this cruise (Apr. 19 departing Dubai). First of all the Legend is their oldest ship (1995). Although it has been refurbished and is attractive and in generally very good condition there are still some problems. The air conditioning in our cabin 7072 was not working properly and although there was a thermostat it never seemed to work. We heard many complaints from others about the same matter. We had to call 3 times for service. When service men came they had to make physical adjustments to the system. We noticed that the air filters in the vents were very dirty. This might be part of the problem.
I caught a cold with a bad cough while on board that took almost 3 weeks to get over. Many others on-board acquired the same condition. I also developed conjunctivitis (the first time ever) and essentially quarantined myself for almost 3 days until the condition resolved. My wife got diarrhea with bad cramps during the cruise and was quarantined after visiting the clinic. The cramps continued for almost three weeks afterwards. Although hand sanitizers were provided at the entry to the restaurants there was no strict policing of their use and many people ignored them. We feel that this may have either led to or contributed to the health issues.
Our cabin also had a bad odor coming from the air vents at some point each day. We suspect it came from the restaurant although maybe not as the odor seemed like sewer gas.
The food on board was good (although the steaks in the main dining room were small and not top quality - maybe they reserve the best cuts for the Grill restaurant that you pay for) but we felt that the variety and quality was generally lacking in comparison to newer and larger RC ships we have been on. But for what we paid for the cruise we really can't complain about the food.
All in all not the best cruise we have ever taken.

Our 3 cabins were on level 7 in the front of the ship. But not too far from the front elevators on the starboard side. The cabin itself is of impressive size. Last year we were on the NCL Pearl to Alaska and the room was almost the same size; where as we had a mini suite at NCL. There is enough closet space to keep your clothes and your suitcase. Plus they have a small cupboard with 5 levels of shelves for all the stuff. There was a queen sized bed and then a sofa bed which my 8 year old daughter used. The bathroom was the surprise. It was much bigger than what we had at the Pearl. I was surprised. The balcony was of standard size. Overall I was very impressed with the room size. Read entire member review. |

Cozy and brightly lit although it does not exude any sense of luxury. Sofa bed folds down to a comfortable double bed. Reasonable size bathroom and balcony. Read entire member review. |

Great balcony!
I like the closet door in that it folds and does not interfere with the bathroom door.
Our cabin was spacious and comfortable.
Quiet location. Read entire member review. |

Legend-Deck 7 Cabin 7588
Slightly aft on portside.
Large cabin, slightly dated but still very clean and tidy.
Corridor noise minimal but can hear opening and closing of doors and drawers by guests and cleaners. Both sides and above in cabin especially on port days.
Small balcony with salt encrusted chairs and table.Unvarnished railings and easy to splinter.
Side panels are levelled down so that next door's balcony can be seen from the railing. Not very private.
This ship still allows smoking on the balcony and we would get the smell if the doors are left open.
Fantastic storage levels and a bigger than usual bathroom area.
Very big divan but low back making it uncomfortable to sit for long periods.
Bed a big queen and a slightly hollow in the middle.Had the feeling of climbing up out of bed.
I would give it a seven out of 10

Cabin 7632 aft-nice balcony for D1 category; very deep and no soot; plenty of storage and lots of hangers; found the location to be quiet; dislike the tiny shower with clingy curtain Read entire member review. |
