Space was adequate. Shower was among the best and roomiest we've had in an accessible room. Cleanliness was lacking. Upon initial entry, the counter in the dressing area was sticky and had a dead bug on it. The bathroom was quite dusty - the top of the phone and the shaver plug, could of used a wet cleaning cloth. The medicine cabinet shelves were dirty. The room contained a mini fridge for medicinal use. I don't believe the cabin was vacuumed or the bathroom floor swept the entire time we were aboard. Lots of storage. Furniture and TV old and dirty looking. Bathroom old and dated, very small shower. Some chair noise from casino above. Read entire member review. |

Room 7119: quiet closet, close to stairway and elevators, keep as twin beds to provide more room, LOTS of cupboard space, very small shower Read entire member review. |

Our cabin was 7139, inside stateroom. It had more than enough space for two people. The closet was big enough for both of us, the storage space was more than we needed and the bathroom was plenty big. The shower stall was small but adequate. The only noise problem we had was a creaking wall/ceiling joint but it became background noise after awhile. No complaints at all and actually better than I was expecting. 7523 was a quiet large interior cabin. Nice layout and good cabin steward. Virtually no foot traffic from other guests. Very quiet. I would not recommend the cabin next to us as it was right at the stairs for the employees. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 8049 - This is an interior stateroom. I went solo so it was fine for me. I think it would still be okay for 2 people too. The interior staterooms are the same width as the outside but I believe is shorter by 1 foot lengthwise. The cabin was kept very clean by the stateroom attendant. I was very pleased with it. My philosophy is you use the stateroom to change and sleep. You really do not need anything else. I would suggest a night light and an alarm clock since the room is pitch black normally. Excellent location on deck 8. I really like that the interior rooms on deck 8 are in hallways that run perpendicular to the main hallway. It made the main hallway to never be crowded with people trying to get into their interior room while someone else was trying to get in their balcony room. It was very quiet even though it was directly below the pool. The only thing missing was a small fridge. Read entire member review. |

Our ship was refurbished in around April of 2010. We had heard that all shower curtains were gone, replaced with shower doors. We also heard that all the old style TV's (crt's) were removed and replaced with flat screens in the rooms. We were in room 8093, which still had the old TV and shower curtain. We were a bit disappointed, but it didn't ruin our trip at all. It wasn't worth complaining about, but I just want to point it out for future people who may have heard the same thing I did about the refurbishment of the ship. Read entire member review. |

It is not obvious at first, but there is lots of storage space. Just remember where you put everything. I always get an interior cabin, on the highest deck, and near one of the elevators. I never take an elevator unless it is up more than 3 floors. On this trip, we were right under the Windjammer, very convenient to it and the showroom and the pools. A long ways from the dining room and some of the bars. Twin beds give you a lot more room than shoved together as one large bed. I suggest using public restrooms for #2. Toilets on ships don't always work well. There are handicap restroom stalls that are bigger than the cabin bathroom and have a lavatory in them. Another reason to get a cabin near the stairs. We had cabin 8577. This was one of the cabins added during the retrofit a few years ago. They did add/include the shower stall which is nice. However, the cabin is a very odd design. Specifically, the bathroom door, closet doors, and chair/sitting area are all in conflict with each other and the whole room is very crowded. Overall, the room seems VERY cramped. Our cabin steward...perfection. The room...small and cozy. The downside was that we always wanted to fall asleep when we were in the room. Overall, the cabins were great. Bathroom wasn't as small as I had anticipated. Slept like a baby! Read entire member review. |

8547 - plenty of space in our cabin to put our clothing away - TV (well - you just need to update these and use the interactive TV (for seapass charges). Bathrooms - seriously can't you be consistent across the fleet? Either supply all the amenities in a dispenser (soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion)or have the attendants supply - I'm confused as to what to bring along. This time I needed conditioner and lotion but had not packed as other RCI fleet do one or the other. Stateroom was generally quiet but it was probably because the people around us were also quiet and there were few if any children on this floor. Our stateroom attendant was super.
P.S. we always put our luggage under the bed, this makes for more room.
My husband did complain that there was no room for him to get to his side of the bed (side with the TV). We probably should have had them separated (the beds). Read entire member review. |
