We had one of the recently added balconies. It was really small with a chair instead of the usual small sofa. We did have a flat screen tv and plenty of closet space. The bathroom was nice and big and laid out well so it felt bigger than usual. Beds nice and comfy, air was really excellent. Carnival Fascination cabin 8A M229, awesome balcony, good location not to far from elevators or stairs. Bathrooms did have a not so good smell the whole time..But again not worth complaining about, also when coming or leaving ports you could hear a little noise below, not worth complaining about either...  Read entire member review.

We really liked this cabin. Not the quietest because of the engine noises but nothing kept us a wake. Once in a while the fumes from the fuel hung around the balcony but was never a problem in the cabin itself. Plenty of storage and good size shower for a cruise ship.
