We had an oceanview cabin on the empress deck. Cabin was close to everything. The location was a bit noisy at times. They had a piano player or a singer to entertain patrons at the bar. Guest services was across from the bar. The cabin was very clean. plenty of storage space. found only one outlet to charge phone-so bring you a power strip if you need muliple outlets. Our cabin was located midship at M146. We liked our location because it was close to elevators yet we didn't hear a lot of people in the hallways. We couldn't hear anyone below or above us. Cabin was a Oceanview room, was orginally booked into an interior but the upsell fairy emailed me a deal for a flat 50 bucks i could get an oceanview and it was also 2 decks up. Only downside is that it was right under the Galley. Room was big enough for the 3 of us. Had the bed from the wall for my son. He enjoy that bed and sheets. Was nicely impressed with the room. Our newly refurbished Cat 6C oceanview on Upper Deck had plenty of space for two people for a short cruise but no "sitting area". Closet space plentiful and shower was bigger than I remembered on this class ship but the sink has been redone so there is now only one small glass shelf for toiletries. We found the cabin to be a good size, the bed was very comfortable and there was ample storage space. I am usually the " live out of the suitcase" type traveller, but I took the advice of some cruise critic members and I unpacked and put my empty suitcase under the bed - this worked out great and helped in making the room feel even more spacious.
