The room bed placement is opposite from all printed deck plans for that cabin. Cabin over Shakers Lounge and music can be heard until 12:30 am.

The category MA is not much different than a balcony stateroom. The bathrooms is a bit bigger (nice size for a bathroom on a ship) and also you have a power jet shower. tea and coffee facilities in the room. Shower gel and shampoo are by dispensers on the wall. No bathrobes or slippers.  Read entire member review.
Be sure to choose a cabin with the bed by the balcony door. You will have a lot more room to access your closet.  Read entire member review.

Scuff mark on the wall right in front of the bed. No ledge or bench in the shower to shave your legs. It was quite a bit away from both elevator banks which defeats the purpose of having a mid-ship room that is supposed to be in the middle of it all. Other than that it was a great room.

Room and bathroom was a decent size...Size of the Balcony was a disgrace....Very very small....

We originally booked an balcony guarantee, but did an upgrade for 20€ each in total to a mini-suite guarantee. We were assigned cabin 13824 a MA mini-suite I think. The layout of the cabin was good, really liked the design of the cabin and absolutely loved the bathroom! Like almost all other cruisers said before, the balconies are tiny! In the cabin we also found our second and last negative thing about Norwegian Breakaway. The cabin was very poorly soundproofed. Maybe this was also due to our neighbors on one side, a family with two young kids. One of the kids was starting to cry and scream very loud every single morning at around 07:30... Even though I am a very heavy sleeper this kid woke me up every morning! Otherwise we really liked the cabin!

We loved the mini-suite with the balcony. There were 3 of us- my husband, our 3 year old daughter and myself so there was more than enough room. The room, furniture, sheets/bedding and towels were very clean. There was plenty of closet space and little shelves/cubbies to store things. There was also plenty of space underneath the bed to put our suitcases so that was really handy as well.

We loved the double sink in the bathroom. Plenty of space there for toiletries though we did bring a hanging organizer with pockets to store them since weren't sure about the space. The shower is surprisingly spacious with 6 spray jets if you choose to use them.

The water gets incredibly hot which is nice, just as a warning to set the handle to the colder side and turning it up slowly.

The balcony was really nice~ the walls give a semblance of privacy but you can easily look around them to your neighbors on either side. Since we were directly below the pool & Garden Cafe, we could definitely hear everything that was happening if we were outside or had the balcony door open.

Our cabin was sufficient for us. We had a mini-suite. The kids loved the bunk beds. The shower was great. There was enough storage for our four large suitcases. We just left them under the bed with our stuff in them and pulled them out as needed. I had read about the lack of hair conditioner, lotion, and bar soap and came prepared, but you'd think they could provide those items. The one ply tissue products could use an upgrade. One thing I wasn't anticipating was how creaky the room was. We were on deck 14 and I was initially worried about noise from above, but that wasn't a problem. The noisy room itself disrupted me numerous times. We had rough seas the first couple of days and the cabin really rocked more than I'd have expected on such a large ship. We brought a sound machine that helped disguise noise from the hallway.
