The layout of the room made it feel like ample space for 2 people. The room was spotless and our stateroom attendant ensured we were always well taken care of.

First rate! by volley16

Spacious, big shower, sufficient storage space but some a little awkward to reach above the beds.

Excellent cabin location. It was an "obstructed view" rated cabin. Not sure why, we thought our view was fantastic. With the oversized balcony, it was simply great enjoying breakfast. The bathroom was totally functional and better than other cruise lines we have sailed. The TV worked great and was more than enough contact with the outside world. The internet connection is expensive. We paid $59.00 extra for two hours access. Very quiet at night. We were never disturbed because of noise. The vessel cruised beautifully. We had 4-8 foot seas one day and you would have never known it !!!!!!

Our cabin 7241 had a great balcony. It was right near the Hideaway room, around the corner from stairs and the elevator. We never had noise. only the cleaning was inferior.

A fine and comfortable room. One of the quietest I have been in on a ship. Veranda was paradise. Room carefully attended to and exceptionally clean. The Sunrise Deck was convenient, quit and accessible.

Eastern Mediterranean Cruise by CarolynAustralia

8228 Great cabin, huge balcony, near the lifts but you can't hear them. The only drawback was being near the crew cupboard which can be a little noisy in the mornings.

Cabin was excellent. First cabin astern of the starboard hump on the 8th deck. Close to atrium elevators so not a lot of aisle walking. No noise issues. Attendant (Michelle) was outstanding. This cabin has a huge veranda so you can get sun or shade depending on your preference. It also affords considerable wind protection as it is astern of the hump. But other than those two conveniences, with just the standard deck chairs and a small table it's mostly wasted space. It could easily accommodate lounge chairs or even a round dining table. At the very least foot rests. Without the right furniture to utilize the space we felt the 1A balcony wasn't worth the extra money. Would probably opt for a 2A -- deck 7 on the hump -- in the future and spend the $60-$80 in Murano.

A great cruise by wedding96

Very quite, but can hear people above banging around in the morning. There is a service closet right outside the door, but that was never a source of noise.

8285 - The Reflection staterooms are comfortable and the bathrooms are nicely appointed. Love the doors that are on the shower rather than a curtain. We were on the angled part of the ship and had an oversized balcony. Very convenient to everything and there was no issue being close to the elevators. The next stateroom balconies were even larger. The best rooms in the 1A Category face the front of the ship and are in one or two more rooms toward the center of the ship. We did wish there were more shelves or drawers for storage. There was plenty of space for hanging clothes and plenty of hangers. The lifeboats were far enough below deck 8 so the view was totally fabulous.  Read entire member review.

Cabin: 8285. Best appointed balcony cabin we ever had with the best bathroom. Better than mini-suites we had on Princess. I thought the cabin had enough storage space but my wife said there could be more. Anil, our cabin steward, was the best we ever had. He did a fantastic job and we had towel animals in our room most every evening. My only complaint was we were on Deck 8 portside. Three decks below us on Deck 5 is an outside smoking area. Often as I sat on our balcony I could smell cigarette smoke wafting up. Also one evening near midnight, a group of reveling smokers broke into a rendition of Sinatra's 'My Way' and woke me up. They were often loud at night and I could hear voices and this was with the sliding door to our cabin closed. We have had many balcony cabins in the past and I never heard as much outside noise as I did on this trip.

We booked aft cabin # 8338. It's a very long walk to nearest elevator. This didn't bother us that much but might be a concern for anyone with mobility issues.  Read entire member review.

Reflecting on Reflection by bobbikins135

Balcony Cabin - The bathroom was larger than I have experienced on other ships and was a very welcome sight. The shower was rectangular in shape and very roomy. No line to hang up washing though!
The room was narrower than our friends room which was an inside cabin!
The limited space was well utilized with adequate cupboard space.
We were at the back of the ship which was very quiet but some distance from the stairs and elevators, so not great for mobility issues but perfect for peace and quiet!
However having booked balcony cabin 8345 for the good size balcony and views, it was not the one as advertised in the stateroom plan. There seems to be a major mix up and basically Celebrity have got it wrong!! So beware when booking 8345 you will get 8343 which means it has a restricted view and misshapen balcony which restricts light coming on to it!

Very happy with cabin. Bunk bed which comes out of ceiling is very clever and saves heaps of space. All beds were very comfortable. We were very worried about fitting 4 people in the one stateroom but it was more than adequate. A cabin with a balcony I think is a must, even if you are not out there a lot being able to get some fresh air into the room is a must. The rooms are very well designed to make use of all space, the shower looks small but once inside is more than adequate. There is lots of storage space under the bed also for suit cases etc which was great as we had excess luggage from a month in europe prior to the cruise. We also visited new found friends in one of the suites which was amazing (4103) spa bath and shower on the balcony, massive tv's and entertaining area in lounge room. Rooms are fantastic.  Read entire member review.

Wonderful cruise by Fluffypants

The cabin is located on the corner of the hump and starboard, in a prime position as far as we were concerned. The balcony is extra deep enabling us to seek or escape the sun as we desired. The bed is located near the balcony allowing us to lay back and watch the sea go by. The headboard is towards the front of the ship so you look towards the back. The cabin is located midship and near the elevator and stairs. It was quiet and we only heard the music from the atrium when the door was opened.
