Making our way to our cabin 5111 was easy. What I immediately noticed upon entering the cabin was how dated it was. The good news was it was very well laid out with lots of closet space and a good size shower. There were a number of stains on the ceiling and the rust around the port hole that did not inspire confidence.

We acquired a 3 berth cabin and this suited us to a tee... The shower has excellent water pressure. We were given fresh towels morning and night - drop your towels on the floor once finished with otherwise if you rehang them, the towels will not be changed. Do not drink the water or open the bathrobe - give them back to the cabin steward. Fresh sheets were replenished every 2x days along with chockies and an animal towel. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 8115. A handy location for the Marquee. Noisy air conditioning, but otherwise didn't hear anything much at all. Nice roomy, light cabin. Read entire member review. |

We where on Deck 9 cabin 9145, An Ocean-view Obstructed View cabin, The Cabin itself, looks old and a little rundown, but had plenty of room. Because of the Air Con ducks where above our cabin the noise in the cabin was really bad, It did effect my hearing, and I am still having problems with my hearing today, If you get this cabin , take some really good ear plugs with you. Loads of storage - big wardrobe and about 16 drawers. Room under the twin beds for suitcases too. This is a share 4 caabin so has top bunks available. Very handy to the back door which leads to a nice sheltered deck with sunloungers. Inside cabin so great for sleeping. Read entire member review. |

We booked very early for this cruise and scored a quad cabin at the discount price on deck 9, cabin 9167. An outside cabin with four bunks, again I drew the short straw for the top bunk, comfortable mattress, nice doona and plenty of pillows, only fault I would have liked a small shelf to place book and water I was able to put my suitcase under the bottom bunk out of the way.I have cruised on all of the Australian P&O cruise ships and found the cabins on board the Pacific Pearl comparable. I'm really not fussy about my cabin as it is only a place to sleep and shower.I really enjoyed the access to the rear deck on the Pacific Pearl, only being 6 cabins from the rear door we were able to duck out and check the weather each morning before deciding on what to wear. Normal cruise boat noise, kids in cabin next door but we didn't hear from them after 10pm, ear plugs also help. Cabin service great, chocolates every second evening a nice touch. 9178 - Cabin was great - looked out over the back of the ship. Served our purposes. There was a strange banging from a store room next door as the ship rocked, but I always take ear plugs with me! Read entire member review. |
