WHAT A BREEZE by charliepoodle
Our cabin was mid ship on ower deck 1 with window - we could not feel the ship move, it was amazing! the cabin was brand new, it had bath robes in, loads of new towels, changed every day, a flat screen TV, a mini bar stocked, shampoo and bath gel provided, along with some free things like packets of tooth paste, breathing nose strips and some sachets of shampoo and conditioner as well. There is one bathroom with shower, toilet sink etc, then a second washroom with bath/shower and sink - this is a great idea if there are 2 -3 people in a room. Our Room steward "Anthony from Grenada' was lovely, he catered for your needs and was very friendly and helpful.  Read entire member review.

Very clean and ample space for 2. Very Noisy hallway.

Cabin was pretty comfortable. Nice decor. Not very noisy, Service was great!!

Great family room, with big port hole and large shelf to sit in. 2 bathrooms and lots of wardrobe space. Beds are extremely comfortable.  Read entire member review.
Inside cabin on 1st floor aft side. It was nice and comfortable. The bathroom was actually bigger then I expected. The shampoo and body wash were terrible and there was not conditioner included. TV had no channels but cruise channels and one movie channel.  Read entire member review.
Cabin 2163- beware of gangway door bedside cabin, kept us up two nights poping and rubbing, Carnival gave us a $250 cash for the trouble, they fixed it. good cabin layout, loved the design, must use your door key to keep lights on, that saves power for the ship and thats good. No issues with that.  Read entire member review.
quiet , great cabin  Read entire member review.
I love the new bunk option where it pulls down out of the ceiling over the sofa rather than over another bed. Lots of closet/storage space. Lots of storage space in the bathroom. Cove balcony was fantastic!  Read entire member review.

Nice and quite. Roomy and adequate. And the AC worked great.

Lovely Cabin. Loved the balcony. Only this cabin is quite noisy due to the galley above you. but with some earplugs or an extra drink or two you can sleep fine. Probably not for the very light sleeper. Cabin was very convenient to lifts and restaurants and pooldeck.  Read entire member review.
Disappointing by kurlyna
VERY NOISEY!!!! constant banging, crashing, rolling from above.  Read entire member review.
Cove balcony 2376 was very nice, lots of closet and storage space, bathroom adequate, nice decor. Not sure why, at exactly 0400 hrs every morning, staff had to drop things and drag them around on deck 3 above us though!  Read entire member review.
Avoid any room under the galley, aft Cove balconies in particular room #2404 unless you are a very solid sleeper or bring earplugs. The galley was busy (noisy) through the night, and #2404 is where the steam pipes come in. The steam pipes are like an old fashioned radiator, clanging and banging, which is terrible in the night! Other then the noise - great amenities, comfortable bed, very good shower, Cove balconies are more private and very close to water... rather cool.  Read entire member review.

Our cove balconies were private and near the sea just like I long to be. I would sail like that on every ship if I could. Adequite storage, good design. Nice bathroom layout and shower size was good.

 Read entire member review.

Some noise from the galley above but not enough to really be an issue. Otherwise standard outside cabin with cove balcony - love the cove!

Our deluxe Ocean view rooms (2432 and 2436) were low and sucked when elevators were needed bu they were also the largest rooms they had only overshadowed by the suites. The rooms are however oversized (lack of balcony gives to the room) and you have two bathrooms in the suite which makes getting ready a little easier. Miss Gordanna out room attendant was AMAZING. She treated us great and our kids even better. I plan to write Carnival on her. Best room attendant I have had to date.  Read entire member review.
We had an inside room, 2459, and it was more spacious than most inside rooms. The bed was comfortable!  Read entire member review.

Good Time by raggedyann6

Quiet, close to everything except the Lido. There were 3 of us in our cabin. There were 2 twin beds and a bunk bed. I think Carnival beds are comfortable, the pillows were a bit harder than I would have liked but still OK. The air conditioning was good you could control it. You need to have a credit card or your rom key card in the slot to keep the lights on in the room. There was a fishy smell in some hall ways on deck 2 but not in front of our cabin. I like how nice and dark the inside cabins are I only am in the cabin to sleep and shower anyway. I was worried about being under the galley but really never heard any loud noises. Maybe once we heard some noise for a few seconds around 5 am but that was it the whole 8 days. The mini drive was stocked with mini bottles and soda not much room for your own water bottles but not worth having the room steward removing them. The refrigerator is not that cold. The safe is big enough for an ipad mini and maybe a full sized ipad. It opens with a combination of 4 numbers you program. There was plenty of room under the bed to store your luggage. There are 3 closets 2 for hanging clothes and one with shelves. The hair dryer is in the desk/vanity top drawer. There is a night stand with 2 places to store some small things. there is a clothes line in the shower, shampoo and shower gel. The basket in our bathroom had a travel size toothpaste, a few breath right samples and something else which I do not remember.

The Best Cruise Yet!!! by Bluenose Cruiser
Our inside cabin with an obstructed view on deck 6 was the same size as our cabin we had on the Dream with a deck. We didn't find the ship rocking anymore in this cabin as we did mid-ship on the Dream. If you are a light sleeper, when coming in to dock you will hear the motors for the ropes, in preparation for docking. However, the cost of this cabin was the same as an inside room - great value. We had a deck just outside of our window. I would book this again.  Read entire member review.
Noisy during Show Times 8.15pm-11.00pm and occasionally afternoons on Sea Days due to cabin being above Theatre. Walls Creaked making sleeping difficult during rough seas. Great location for access to Restaurants, Theatre and Bars.  Read entire member review.

Quiet location, no noise from above or sides. Great location on the deck to access forward and mid elevators very quickly.

BIG Disappointment by Wombournewalkers
Cabin 6388 - lovely comfortable cabin but noisy. Deck 6 is above the entertainment deck on deck 5. 6388 is directly above the Plaza cafe & loud noise can be heard inside the cabin up until it closes at 12pm. The balcony is also overlooked from the outside seating areas from the bars below - it is far from private.  Read entire member review.
okay locaton, but no privacy due to deck below. Small balcony, not enough drawer space, more hangers needed in closet for 12 day cruise. was mid ship so not as much noise from the clubs as other's complained about.  Read entire member review.
Do not get a cabin midship on the 6th floor. You will not sleep a night. The music was so loud you could hear it in your cabin.  Read entire member review.
Great location close to the stairs. 1 flight down and you are at the piano bar, comedy club, casino, and can access the outside promenade. 2 flights down and you are at the dining room. However, next time I would prefer to be in the rear of midship, vs front of aft. Other than that personal preference no complaints with the stateroom.  Read entire member review.
Not a Breeze by Jbyrd25
We were in cabin #6477. Very nice decor but situated over the piano bar and other night clubs. Very noisy at night from music. Very little drawer space for 12 days of cruising. The balcony was very nice except that it was down wind of the barbecue on sea days so that made it useless to sit out during the afternoon.  Read entire member review.
Premium vista balcony was amazing - HUGE balcony (bigger than suites) and HUGE room with sofa plus additional chair and lots of space to walk around. Could have easily fit 6+ deck chairs on balcony. Will be very hard to cruise again on smaller balcony ! Very quiet at night time, away from main public decks  Read entire member review.

If your a light sleeper and go to sleep by 11pm forget it. Very noisy Lounge is right below. Noise depends on how late the lounge closes.

Great closets and cupboards but compact rooms. Fairly small balcony alot bigger back boat. Bathroom good. Noisy rooms.  Read entire member review.
7220 Nice, quiet, interior cabin near front of ship. Storage on both sides so no noise from other cabins. Just steps from front balcony. Great room steward.  Read entire member review.

Close to hallway but you do not hear any noise at all. Good closet storage, great balcony, easily accessible to all parts of the ship.

 Read entire member review.
Balcony cabin, close to forward elevators. Cabin #7275 is very close to the forward elevators which take you to the buffet on deck 10. When you get off the elevator on that deck, you will be at the Red Frog bar and Iguana Bar. The cabin was plainly decorated and it was clean. The bed was very comfortable and there is a flat screen television. There is a sitting area (sofa type) and a stool in front of a mirror. The cabin was quiet, but in the early evening you can hear music from a few decks below. It was not annoying though. Note that Deck 5 extends out beyond the balcony. From this, it was not too bad because this cabin is above a painted checker board so nobody was ever there. There are lounge chairs on Deck 5 and people can potentially look up to invade your privacy.  Read entire member review.
The Breeze was a BREEZE by Cruising Honeys

We had balcony cabin 7316. We where 2 decks above the hot tub so at times it was a bit noisy but on the whole it was great. Sitting in the morning with coffee and in the evening with a glass of wine. Close to the atrium elevators.

 Read entire member review.

Great cabin location, except for smoking on the port side of deck 5 wafting up to us. Should have booked the mirrored cabin on the other side of the boat. We brought Ozium room spray with us to kill any bathroom odors, but it couldn't do anything about the incessant outdoor smoking.

Great size. awesome balcony. weird smell. across from storage closet (nothing) and it was a bad choice. at 6:00 Am banging of paint frames woke us up.

7464 aft cabin was great...good balcony... well designed space... nice closet space... good bathroom with good water pressure...good steward considering this is not a real high dollar cruise line.

Nice location and very quiet.  Read entire member review.

We had adjoining rooms 8280 and 8284. We did not hear a peep from other rooms. Occasionally we'd hear noise from the hallways as people passed. The rooms were immaculate.

Cabin was EXCELLENT for a cruise ship. The shower was superb (again, for a cruise ship)! Amenities were great (although my wife kept complaining that the hair dryer was "eating" her hair. It must have been true, because she yelled "OUCH!" every 2 minutes.

Beds were on the stiff side, but to my liking, the pillows and bedding were comfy and the hotel staff was friendly and quick!

EVERY time we ordered room service though it was wrong in some way. They did not get our room service order correct one day we were there (and we ordered breakfast every morning)!! :(

Cabin was o.k. We had an inside cabin. Bed was comfortable. Could have used more hangers. Nice bathroom and shower. Drawer space was tight as drawers were small. Good for socks etc but nothing larger. Everything else had to be stacked on 3 shelves on top of each other. Had two bathrobes which was a nice touch.  Read entire member review.

Great TIme by morgan246
Cabin 8432 was great, right next to elevators, it is in the Aft part of ship, never any noise problems at all. Very roomy. closet and storage was more than adequate  Read entire member review.
Cabin #8475- aft facing balcony. The cabin was wonderful and the balcony was large enough to accommodate 2 lounge chairs, 2 chairs, and a small table. We loved the view of the wake as the ship was sailing. This cabin had everything and we loved it. . .roomy and very comfortable!  Read entire member review.

We were in cabin 8477. It is an Aft room with the extended balcony. Carnival has made the look of the rooms more contemporary. I believe these are the best rooms on the fleet. As most people know, Carnival has larger cabins than the competitors. This cabin is no exception. I definitely recommend cabin 8475 or the mirror on the other side. The balcony is even bigger. Either way, these cabins are great. One 230 volt and two 120 volts at the vanity. Flat screen tv. Not only is the balcony larger, but the interior floor plan is bigger. As Will Ferrell stated in Step Brothers, "so many activities."

After we booked the cruise, we heard about "smells" in the back cabins. We did experience these same issues. Apparently, the ship has some process that creates a bi-product of a sulphur-like smell. It occurred during two of the seven nights. It was annoying. We also smelled BBQ on the nights prior to the sea day BBQ cookouts. Not bad. We noticed periodically that soot from the smokestacks would create some black specks to cover the outside furniture. Make sure you wipe the outside furniture to avoid messing up clothes. When the seas are not really smooth, you will feel a rocking vibration the entire time. The view though is a huge plus. I have not had these problems with RCCL. I had cabin vibrations on other Carnival Aft cabins though. Would I book this cabin again? No, not for the price. I would rather have a mid level deck 7 or 8 balcony cabin. Back to a good note, the back of the ship has very little hallway noise. No kids running or people talking outside to bother you.

Cabin number 9205; This is the first time we had a junior suite it was beautiful, we loved the extra space, the tub & closest! The only bad part was on our balcony, since the jr. suites are located at the front of the ship, people who went on the front part of the deck could look right into our room we had no privacy. Others with a balcony have had shields or blockages so others could not look onto their balconies. The way our room was set people could look right into our room and at night see everything!! We had to keep our drapes closed at all times, no waking to the beautiful ports. In the morning we wanted to go out to the balcony in our pj's just like others did but there did ALWAYS people want to see the ports.... to our dislike we couldn't go out there unless we wanted everyone to see us!!!  Read entire member review.

It stops at Gold by Soulpride

Avoid this cabin. In front of the service pantry so you can hear the clanking of the employees doing their job. Also, it is near the elevators so you hear walking by all the time. It is a VERY HOT room, well actually a HOT deck overall.

Pretty pleased! by glenstair
Our cabin was above the hot tub and it could get a bit noisy at times when sitting on your balcony. People should learn to be a little less noisy when using the passage ways because the main door seems to leak sound. Otherwise cabin was quiet and well situated. Lots of storage and a great shower!  Read entire member review.
Great in every way except... Location. If you value your sleep, check out similar cabin types that are sandwiched between other cabins. If you party every night till very late... actually a good cabin as you are one flight of stairs to the pool level (lido).  Read entire member review.

Noisy with cleaning crew in the buffet upstairs.

Good location in the aft area so only a few cabins either side and not much foot traffic outside. We had a good sized balcony with two deck chairs and a sunlounger. The only downside is when people move the sunloungers on the swimming deck above you can hear some of the noise. Bathroom was compact but useable, enough closet space. I think we chose well.  Read entire member review.

Handicap room on Lido deck, big door, lots of space, comfortable beds, nice linens, nice window view of the front of the boat. Quiet and convenient location. Laundry and iron near by. Overall best value.  Read entire member review.
Adjoining cabins, great closet space. Nice balconies. Great service.  Read entire member review.
The tenth floor was a great location. The end with the rooms stayed quiet and the other end is the Lido deck with access to food, bars, and activities. Our room was also close to the stairwell which was often the easiest path to take, at least going down.  Read entire member review.

Just ok by ThelmLou

Cabin 11212 is an inside Spa Cabin at the end of the deck under the gym. The cabin was very roomy and efficient with lots of storage space. Everything was in order and it was spotless. There is access to a forward facing deck a few steps away which is very nice and access to gym, spa, and Serenity deck is facilitated by a small elevator - very nice.

BEWARE: being directly under the weight room of the gym results in being awakened very early when somebody is working out with weights and they drop them, this happens starting early in the morning and continues intermittantly through the day. Friends were in cabin 11219 and experienced same pounding. We went up and asked the people to stop dropping wieghts, some complied, some did not.

We had a spa suite! Excellent choice.

 Read entire member review.
Excellent location with no problems at all. No noises through the walls... even when the loudest deck parties are happening on Lido deck. Surrounded by cabins above, below, and all around... so no mechanical noises or any objectionable noises of any kind. Very convenient location with just a short walk to the spa elevator... which makes it easy to get to the spa, the fitness room, the thalassotherapy pool, and the Serenity retreat. But you are far enough from all elevators that you do not hear them at all. If you walk down the hall to the bow of the ship and go through the doors to the viewing deck, you have an excellent view of what's ahead of the ship. If you go the other direction, towards the rear of the ship, you can easily get to the main pool or the Lido buffet. Heating and cooling in the cabin were the best I've ever experienced on a cruise ship. You can get the room as warm or as cold as anyone would probably ever want to. This cabin is highly recommended.  Read entire member review.

11226: Great location. We were upgraded to this and weren't sure what we would get. Other than children running up and down the halls the location was good. Toward the front of the ship but not so close that the balcony couldn't be used (wind). Liked the spa supplies rather than generic. Bed VERY comfortable. Plenty of room in the bathroom.

We were in balcony cabin 11265. It was not a "spa room" but it was near the spa area. Great location near main pool. Easy access to main areas. Great view from balcony. Quite location; not a lot of foot traffic because not a lot of cabins on this floor. Highly recommend it.  Read entire member review.
ROOM 12003 Great room. Quiet, and close to the gym via the side door. Could not hear gym equipment or door slamming. Balcony was not covered, and was very private. It is not covered, and no one can look down on you. The spa is above you, so there is no over-lookers at all. Plenty of room. It has the separating king bed, and a sofa. Four closets, one with shelves, and 4 pull out drawers. A couple of shelves, and your basic cruise ship bathroom. Deck 12 at the front of the ship, so you do feel a little movement, but nothing serious.  Read entire member review.

Spa cabin. No noise from the spa or workout center across hallway

 Read entire member review.
A spa balcony cabin, high up on the port side. Very close to the spa and elevators. Very quiet, even the cleaning and vacuuming by the steward (which they seemed to be doing around the clock) could'nt be heard beyond the door.  Read entire member review.

Our inside cabin was 7356. It seems smaller than we are used to on Royal. There was no sofa. Not a big deal to us since the cabin is used for sleeping. It had plenty of storage for clothes. Located perfectly for us. Right around the corner from the elevators and stairs. Two floors above the fifth floor promenade area and three floors below the main pool deck area. We like using the stairs to work off the food.

Cabin 1292 - perfect. A balcony would have been nicer but for an ocean-view, this stateroom could not be beat. No noise from engines, elevators or public areas. There are 2 bathrooms in these staterooms and tons of storage space. And our cabin steward was just wonderful!  Read entire member review.
Inside cabin on 7 floor. It was quite adequate for three people( one of whom is in a bunk bed). We had room to store all of our luggage under the bed and in the closets. The 7th floor, mid ship was ideal since it was mid way between Lido above and shops below.  Read entire member review.
9372 - very loud noise from deck 10 above the first night (like maintenance occuring, chairs being dragged, etc.) Other nights, could hear running, jumping but it stopped before too late. Good balcony, overlooking deck 5. Crystal clear glass allowing for best viewing of ocean and flying fish :-)  Read entire member review.
