Enjoy the outdoor space of a private balcony with patio chairs and a table, along with all the standard Carnival stateroom amenities: two twin beds (convert to a king) and a single sofa bed, sofa and coffee table, desk and seat, and a full bathroom with shower.
One of several smoking areas on the ship is directly below. Do not book this cabin if you want to sit on your balcony and breathe fresh air! Also quite noisy (squeak in the wall somehow), and loud music from below until 12 midnight every night. The squeak in the wall drove me nuts, but the smoke was really what disappointed me. The music was loud, but quite good if your not an early sleeper.
Splurging on the balcony was worth it, we would definitely do it again. This room is a little far from the elevators, next time I would book closer to them. You can hear music and singing from the Red Frog Restaurant in the evenings if your balcony is open - it was really nice. In terms of size, it's a typical ship cabin, small but sufficed (1 queen bed, 2 singles one of which was a pull down)...were able to get all 3 large suitcases under the bed.
The cabin itself was great but this particular location is horrible UNLESS you a night owl who will close down the disco and then wants a quick and easy crawl back to your cabin. If that's you - then this cabin is perfect for you. Read entire member review.
Great cabin, Colorful, light, fresh and clean, well worth having a balcony, clean bathroom, informative interactive TV, sufficient storage cupboards and drawers, good hair dryer. Insufficient Laundry and Ironing for the number of passengers and not being able to take your own iron is not very convenient. Room service is great Read entire member review.
Our stateroom was nice. Average size, plain, bare bones, no clock, no curtain between the bed and living area (a nice to have when you are travelling with children if you're wanting some privacy while getting dressed). We had an aft view balcony which offers a fabulous view, but we paid for an extended balcony and the balcony rail tilted on such an angle that truly our usable space was the same as any other balcony, it just cost more!! Our stateroom attendents were very pleasant, although I was surprised when on by day 2, they had not made my sons bed into a sofa during the day. When I asked if this could be done to give us some space he hesitated took a breath and said... Umm.. I guess we could do that, he made it clear it was extra work on his part. Other cruise lines I sailed with this was just a given. it was at the back of the ship.. which was quiet.. a bit of a walk to the elevator but worth the trade off.
