R5 is on the lowest passenger deck and is third from the front on the starboard side. I love being at the front of the ship as I enjoy the motion of the sea. The two port holes were enough to let in daylight and provide a view of the sea. The room had plenty of space on either side of the queen bed. There was one straight chair. The built in desk/dresser had several fairly shallow drawers and good lighting. There were only two electrical outlets. Three closets - two for hanging clothes and one with shelves. It would be adequate for two people. Bathroom had large shower. This is a cabin that prices as an Inside although it has port holes. It is spartan but comfortable.  Read entire member review.

Big Mistake by bettersoon
Room R16 - don't expect to get any sleep, unless you are accustomed to sleeping through constant banging and knocking coming from below.  Read entire member review.

Make sure to follow the measurements for your luggage, they will not fit under the bed if you don't and you will not have any room to put them. Bring extension cord with 5 way plug, very handy. I bought a $3 hang over the door for the bathroom, very convenient. Make sure to bring extra large mug for drinks in your room along with a large coffee mug for when you visit the Lido deck.  Read entire member review.

On one side is a fire station, so no worries about neighbors, although on the other side we discovered our neighbors TV to be unfortunately loud on a couple of occasions. They do tend to keep the cart across the hall because there is not a direct cabin across from us - but for us that is not a complaint. The staff was always very quiet. Never heard anything from cabin above. I found the bow thrusters as we docked at port a nice way to wake up (better than my alarm). Found the room spacious and the only thing I'd wish for is more places to hang things (wet suits, towels, etc.) Loved the porthole and the ledge large enough for two to sit (just watch hitting your head on the porthole covers. Pillows comfy, comforter thin but warm...plenty of room below the beds to store your empty suitcases. Like the chair rail ledge around the room - found it very practical.  Read entire member review.

Plenty of room for 2 adults. Bathroom plenty big. Enough storage. Would have been cramped with 3 or 4 people.  Read entire member review.

E2 was Ok except for all the crew activity in the area.  Read entire member review.
