We had booked a cabin forward on Deck 6, but at the last minute we were upgraded by Seabourn to Deck 8. Our cabin was located right inside the door that leads to the Patio Grill and Pool area. This location is great. The entire layout of the ship is very convenient and accessible from this location. The cabin itself is well appointed although not necessarily large. It has a very modern bathroom with two sinks, tub, and shower in addition to the toilet. There is a small walk in closet next to the bathroom. The bed is comfortable with a vanity at the foot of it that has a lot of storage areas as well as two night tables on either side of the bed. The sitting area contains a small sofa, TV, table and two chairs. The door to the veranda is nice in that it easily opens in and out and is not the usual slide door usually found on ships. The veranda furniture is well made. My only complaint about this particular cabin is that it is close to the patio grill door as well as the staff interior ship doors. Therefore, during the day, you hear a lot of doors banging close all the time. I would either suggest a cabin on deck eight that is more forward or preferably a cabin on deck 7 that is more centralized but still convenient to everything the ship has to offer.
