Watch out for "debris" from balconies above you. Beautiful full view from balcony, however. Quiet location right near an elevator, but also crowded hallway if you head towards mid-ship on this deck as this area is entrance for all kids programs. Believe every GOOD thing you hear about cabins on the Disney Dream...the cabins are TOP NOTCH! We had a Deluxe Veranda Room and it was awesome. Our cabin steward, Astawa, was AWESOME! The room had a large, comfortable Queen bed, pull out sofa and bunk. There was AMPLE storage under thw bed for suitcases, as well as closet and drawer space. One of the best parts was the split bathroom! The first bathroom had the sink and toilet while the second one had a sink and tub/shower combo! LOVED the cabin!  Read entire member review.

Our 5A cabin (10026) was the first cabin on the port side near the elevators. It was the only one left in this category when we booked it, and we were very concerned about the sound level since it's so close to the elevators. Well, guess what? Disney got this right too. We never heard a peep of people in the hallway or anyone standing near the elevators. Obviously, the stateroom doors are sealed well. My favorite part of the cabin was the split bathroom -- one with a sink, tub and shower, and the other with a sink and toilet. The split bathrooms seems to work quite well, enjoyed having a tub/shower combo. The room size seemed cramped especially with the bed being right in front of the bathrooms. It made it tough to get in and out of the bathrooms and the cabin in general. And we had adjoining rooms and the pass through doors from each room blocked the foot of the bed area when opened, so no one could pass by to get in or out of the room. You had to close the pass through door to get around the bed. VERY BAD design. Would be a disaster in an emergency situation. Theses pass through doors should open in the opposite direction, so they lay up against the flat wall, not the built in dressers. Balconies were very small, and people smoking on them made it difficult to enjoy them. Would not pay the extra for it again, we never used it. We never had enough towels for the number of people in our rooms, so by the third night we finally had the steward trained to leave extras for us.
