Room was nice but the top bunk was a little small for my full grown 18 year old son. LOL...

Our Room – Cat 4D, Deck 6, Family Oceanview with balcony, 299 sq ft. I will not go into a lot of detail as this can be researched on the DCL site. We were generally very pleased with the décor and layout; it was certainly very comfortable for two adults. However, we have some observations/complaints:
• The room safe is mounted far too low to the floor, making it very difficult to open and close.
• There are almost no instructions as to how to operate the curious round tub in the split bath; it took a while to get the temperature and the settings figured out (rain shower, telephone shower or tub fill). When soaping or shampooing, the floor became very slippery.
• The fridge is not big enough to hold a bottle of wine properly.
• Lighting controls should be on both sides of the bed.
• No bathrobes and (disposable) slippers– for this category of room, we expect it.
• No bottled water in the room - I suppose it is expected that guests order it from Room Service.
• A big issue – only one 110v AC outlet in the entire cabin – ridiculous! There was a 220v outlet for the hair dryer and one for the included shipboard cordless phones. There were two other European-style outlets on one side of the bed for 220v. We realize these ships are built in Europe but how could the designers only have one 110v outlet in a stateroom this size?
• A small (22”) flat screen TV. We would expect a larger TV in a stateroom this size.

One Word: WOW!!! by moncrystal
The view of the water right below was obstructed by a life boat and a lower deck. The right side of the view was slightly obscured by a wall. At times, we could hear the people or activities above us when the balcony door was open, as well. These did not take away from the view or our enjoyment of the balcony!  Read entire member review.
Excellent storage. We had 6 bags and there was no sign of clutter the entire time. Excellent view. No hall or elevator noise. Right in the middle of the ship.  Read entire member review.
