What a balcony!!!! Huge!!! Great room, as long as you have kids. This cabin is super close to the Oceaneer Lab and there is a lot of foot traffic to and from the clubs. Worked just fine for us since our 5 and 7 year olds were part of that parade!!!!  Read entire member review.

A great cabin. Big veranda, lots of storage. Guest laundry right across the hall. A little out of the way to get to.  Read entire member review.

Beyond Awesome!!! by Meltimmins7
The most awesome part was also when I went to bed, the bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of room! My son loved it too. We were in the deluxe ocean view with verandah room 6178.  Read entire member review.

cabin 6586, everything was in working order, nice veranda. Little to no noise from above, below or the hallways. Room was just 50 feet from mid-ship elevators. Almost no ship movement felt.  Read entire member review.

Cabin was quite, good use of space (split bathroom). Hate cruise ship showers--can never get them adjusted right. Someone smoked in the balcony above and it smoked up our balcony one day. Black light bunk bed a big hit. The BEST mattresses---we all liked them.  Read entire member review.

We were in cabin 7528, which I thought was great...nothing special for Disney Dream though. I loved the fact that the bed was up higher so you could store your luggage under the bed. They had 2 closets, which was great and I felt like they had plenty of dresser space to put your clothes. I loved the 2 bathroom concept and the phones that you can take around the ship. The balcony was nice size, I just wish that we did not have to smell those passengers who insist on smoking. This cabin is a connecting cabin, but we could not hear our neighbors. It is somewhat close to the stairs and elevator.  Read entire member review.

Excellent room with the split bathroom. Two sinks, one in each room. Actual small tub. It is the 2nd one from the back on the third row up - right side - starboard.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was very nice. Roomy, clean, and comfortable. I would highly recommend a veranda. It was so nice to sit out on the balcony in the morning for breakfast, and in the evening watching the most beautiful sunsets. My son loved sleeping the bunk bed and spreading his toys out below in the sofa/desk area. Definitely enough room to spread out. The space beneath the bed was nice to put your luggage, so it is out of the way. Disney did it right having a separate shower/tub from the toilet. Made getting ready in the morning or evening much easier.  Read entire member review.

Great Balcony, Quiet location, Great view, about halfway between Mid-ship and Forward Elevators, very cool fridge (froze my beer!) Beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable.

Still Dreamin of the Disney Dream by Jakeandmacksmom143
We were in room 8066 and it was a gorgeous room, not too noisy, perfect location since the elevator was just up the hall and it was right in the middle of the ship, we had a great view no matter where we were in a port and since we had 3 rooms in our party, we opened up the veranda walls so we had a huge veranda and the kids could go from room to room.  Read entire member review.

Great room- good space- 2 closets- chest and desk with more drawer space. More tahn enough for 1 and would be very comfortable for 2.  Read entire member review.

Nice location. No noise problems. Smelled smoke from the smoke stacks just when leaving Port Canaveral. Never had an issue with the smoke after that.

We had an excellent view at Castaway Cay, facing the Snorkeling Lagoon.

The bed is on the short side. My husband is 6ft & he did fine. Might be a problem if much taller than that.

The shower is very hard to work at 1st. Once you get the hang of it, it works great. We would have had to set it up for our 11 year old if she had been with us.

The rooms, I think, are a little small for four people (2 adults, 2 kids, ages 6 and 7) but the balcony made it seem bigger. I think the bigger rooms midship are better for families of 4 or more. If you have 3 kids, you may want to consider adjoining staterooms but that is pricier. You could do 1 adult, 2 kids per stateroom and do joining staterooms to spread out a little more. We were forward starboard and the views of Castaway Cay were amazing - gorgeous. But when docked in Nassau, The Norwegian peered into our room :-) There are ships on all side when we dock at Nassau, so no escaping it. But at Castaway Cay, you want to be starboard side for sure. The views are amazing, and I got some great pictures. They come and make up your room twice a day- now that's service! We loved the guy we had and he made towel animals for the girls, adn left chocolates each night. The animals are amazing! You do not need to take your towels from the room with you on Nassau or Castaway as they provide you beach towels. Our wave phones sometimes worked and did not work on Castaway cay at all. Bring walkie talkies and change channels often. I found the room a bit noisy - when people close drawers/dressers and their stateroom doors. When kids run up and down the halls, it is loud in the rooms. We brought a sound machine but that did not help the noise. Beware of this. Deck 8 is nice and easy climb to 11 and down to 5, etc. The stairs are the way to go! Elevators get nuts and exercising is good, right? If you can find a room away from elevators/stairs and main entry ways, that may be quieter. You will feel the waves no matter where you are but the lower we got, the more we felt it with deck 2 and 3 being the rockiest. Bring dramamine because you will sleep like a baby. Enjoy!

Nice mid-ship location with stable ride. Felt very little movement, even on the bumpier days.  Read entire member review.

Livin the Disney Dream by cruisin2934
Our cabin was equally inviting. We loved having the bath tub for our son. There was a full size sofa which was also nice. I thought it was brilliant that the coffee table was also a storage chest and our son loved keeping his toys there. Our bed was very comfortable. Our balcony was pretty standard but also fine. My only gripe would be that the safe was on the bottom shelf in the closet so I had to squat or get on my knees every time I had to go in or out of our closet. By the second night I just decided that I trusted our cabin attendant.  Read entire member review.

Loved the Verandah, beds extremely comfy, linens beautiful, clean, thought it would be slightly larger, but was well equipped and cosy.  Read entire member review.

We had a handicapped room and it was huge. We celebrated as it was larger than our current living arrangement. More space than needed. Loved it. Our balcony was enormous and we really enjoyed it.  Read entire member review.

This room's specs indicate that it's for "family" and that it can fit 3-4 people comfortably. We had 2 adults in this room and I would not want to try to squeeze in anyone else. Even if it were a small child, we were tripping over each other as it was just trying to walk from one side of the room to the other. From what I am told from others who take cruises frequently, the room size we had on Disney Dream is larger than most other boats.
Room was VERY clean at all times, nice finishes, nothing "run down" or "worn out" about anything in the space. Great credit goes to our stateroom attendant, did a seamless job of our room always being exceptionally clean & the cute towel animals left on our bed each night gave us a good laugh.
The balcony is nice to have to escape from the typical noise throughout the majority of the ship. It was a shame that one of our neighbors decided to break the "no smoking on the balcony" rule (it is supposed to be a $250 fine if you smoke in the room or on the balcony). We could smell the smoke in our room on multiple occasions, if we could have distinguished which neighbor it was coming from, it would have been helpful to eliminate the problem.
One other thing to mention about stateroom, you can hear EVERYTHING from the hallway. Every time a child goes running down the hall (which was every other minute it seemed like), you will hear it every time as it echoes and it can keep you up at night.

Standard size. Wonderful having a full-size shower! Two Bathrooms is genius!! Bed is more comfortable than mine at home. Floors/ceilings too thin; we heard kids running back and forth upstairs all night long.  Read entire member review.
