Not as large as expected from reading other reviews. Cabin size is about 15 x 15 feet. Good location. Smelled cigarette smoke (from the crew area?) frequently, but it didn't bother us too much. Very quiet. Read entire member review. |

There are no better riding cabins on the ship than the inside J cabins which have the beds aligned in the long axis of the ship. They are 30-50% larger than the outside and veranda, great views out on TV chan 43.
Its pure physics shorten the lever and align the ride....Don't get a J which can be joined to another cabin or is ADA. or in which the beds are at right angles to the ships longitudinal center line/axis. There are only about 8 of these jewels.... and after 36 days in one...I wont ever look at another....
we had 2 days of 50 to 70 kt winds and 20to 30 ft seas...it got to many, we hardly felt them in our inside penthouse. Read entire member review. |

There are 150 inside cabins only 24 are in the main deck and rated J
of these 24 there are 3 configurations all square The configuartion of 1053 is in my opinion the best. The J cabins on other decks are not the same.
So much closet space you can't fill it!!! Bathroom twice the size of a veranda;9 feet from the bed to the closet, great L shaped sectional sofa you can lie down on.... an inside suite.... better and larger than veranda or outside cabin... wonderful one of the best design of any cabin ever....square not a tunnel Read entire member review. |

Interior room, J class - spacious, 2 big closets, regular American electrical plugs (3 prong), big enough for 3 adults, good sized bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Plasma TV's in all rooms showing great movies for those who want to just relax with one channel showing the front of the ship and one pointing to the back. Fun to watch if you have an interior room as you come into port. Read entire member review. |

Cabins 7129, 7125 : a loud mechanical banging noise near the rear wall ceiling, starts randomly at about 4:00am and continues until the late morning. HAL could not identify the cause and we were moved after 5 sleepless nights.
Cabin 5024: the air-cond was broken and was stuck on the coldest setting. It was like a meat safe and is impossible to sleep. I believe the Front desk already knew this room was problematic, but still moved us there. Both moves we had to do ourselves with no assistance and this wasted two mornings.
Our final cabin, 6136 was great we finally could sleep after 6 terrible nights. Read entire member review. |
