Category CA, Cabin 10001, Panorama Deck. Loved this cabin!! There are four of these cabins on deck 10 and from what I saw all are the same. Very spacious with the most floor space I have ever experienced on a cruise ship. Really didn't feel like we were on a cruise ship since the cabin was as big or bigger than most hotel rooms. Bathroom is of standard size with bathtub/shower combination and plenty of storage room. We had three large closets, one with a the safe in it, fridge, couch, table, chair and ottoman (with storage available inside) that served as the seat for the dressing table. Two large drawers under the bed can be utilized if you ask you cabin steward to remove the extra linens they store in them. A Bose iPod dock and water feature were provided in this cabin as part of the Spa category, as well as slippers, robes and yoga mats. We also received two large waters (one sparkling and one still) as well as 3 vitamin waters that were included with a spa category cabin. There were 2 US plugs, as well as 2 Euro plugs. Didn't need my power strip for this cruise. Not sure if this is standard or not, but my thought is that they were extra because of the docking station and water feature needing power. Huge window facing out over the front of the ship. There is enough of a ledge at the window that you can actually sit on it. Relatively quiet location...only heard a few things...most of it being crew since crew quarters were directly across the hall. Easy access to spa and lido area, just one deck down. Had a few days with relatively rough seas and while we felt movement we weren't bothered by it. Hands down one of the best cabins we have every had and if ever we were to sail the Nieuw Amsterdam again I would book one of these cabins, no question!
