Princess called this category OW. Oceanview Obstructed. Port side, Emerald Deck, Aft of the Mid-ship elevators. Read entire member review.
Pros -- while called obstructed, the ocean view was about 3/4 clear of obstructions. Plenty of view available.
Also, compared to some other lower end price cabins, I thought the cabin felt a little bigger than some others. Three adults who get along with each other fit comfortably. Two chairs, a small table and standard spaces under beds and drawers. The "living area" fit fine, but the closet area seemed smaller than other Princess ship cabins. I like this -- better to have more living space than more closet space, IMHO.
Cons -- NOISE! Cabin E516 is directly over the stage of the Explorer's Lounge. When the band plays, the floor and chairs vibrate with each drumbeat. On most nights, the party down below lasts until about 11:40 pm. Unless you'd like to join the party each night, AVOID CABIN E516.
2nd Con -- no staircase midship on the Grand Princess! We like the Emerald deck because it's just one deck up from the Princess Theater, Vista Lounge, etc. Easy to get to them, right? Nope, not from this cabin. Because the Grand Princess has no passenger staircase midship above deck 7, you must either wait for an elevator (which we all know can take 5-10 minutes during busy times) or walk to the forward or aft lift/staircases. From now on, I'm going to look closer at the deck plans on the Princess ships before choosing a cabin. Avoid being above a bandstand and be sure stairs are close by.
